I love this character. Hanssen has all the best dialogue. And he is Christ-like in a strange way.

I really like the Hanssen character. He's complex (. . . .like me) and quite unpredictable. I partcularly enjoyed the 'soft side' when he forgave Oliver Valentine and allowed him to start again. I must upload that as I have it saved on the box!

Hanssen really lost his cool when he brawled on the table towards Jac Naylor in his office of electing her as cardiothoracic registrar on Darwin. Her favourite ward is usually Keller though but Hanssen has the authority to make the decision of who is registrar and consultant on the wards of Darwin and Keller. I would hardly say anything to him. He has a good reason to be scary towards a bitch like Jac.

Funny. Shortly after I recovered from jumping out of my skin, I actually said aloud "Oh, that bit is SO going to end up on Youtube" - and lo and behold! - here it is. I agree, he is scary when he loses it - but he's also seriously hot too. He could tell me off any day. Hmm, *swoon*.
