I read Hunger Games and Catching Fire back to back. About 7 hours for Hunger Games and then about 5 for Catching Fire, finishing Catching Fire about 5am in the morning. The next night I read Mockingjay.

I didn't think it was possible for me to read Hunger Games books in any other way than in one sitting in the middle of the night. But then came Mockingjay and SCHOOL. The fact that I had to use three separate nights to actually finish the book made my heart weep.

At least it sort of counts as "studying" for my big English exam coming up (and Youtube is sort of like practising for hearing comprehension... right?)

PS. There has been a video of me so drunk I was way blacked out. I made it with Lauren Fairweather and Jerry Cooke. I didn't even know we posted one until the next day when they TOLD me. I just finished Mockingjay.

I've learned my lesson not to read any of the Hunger Games novels before bed. I kept having a recurring dream that I was walking through a trailer park and I always ended up at the same trailer, which was the training center. I woke up before entering the arena, though. Thank god.

And I totally agree. That sounds like a scary dream. I wonder if the training center looks the same in your mind as it does mine. For this reason, I hope these books are never made into films. I don't want to ruin them and how I see the places/characters.

@ISnoggedHarry I totally agree. Like, for me, I imagine things a certain way and seeing them on "the big screen" makes me feel like I imagined them wrong, you know? I mean, the training center didn't look like a trailer in my mind, but that's how the outside part of it looked in my dream. I've heard several youtubers say they're being made into movies. If they are, I really hope they don't completely destroy it and turn it into a giant piece of shit.

I just read the first book yesterday and am currently in the middle of Catching Fire! I was at the book store and this bitchy woman who worked there was like, "I read all of the books before they came out and I got them for free! That's the joy of working at books a million." I though, "I think I should get a job application here, but I don't think I want to work her because I don't really like you, I don't think I could keep this job very long." :( I want free books.

Hiragana doesn't necessarily require artistic ability, it's more of the difference between having good handwriting and bad handwriting. I've been writing in Japanese for 12 years and my handwriting sucks in both English and Japanese but it still works. You'll get used to it :) がんばって！
