Let me tell you the facts. Shaq won the championships in the 2000's for the Lakers. Who was MVP? SHAQ all 3 championships period! Another thing; Shaq was UNSTOPPABLE and if you are a true Laker fan you would know this. Stop hating on Shaq. @HaroldTheDog Kobe has no business on that list. He's the third best player of the last decade. Duncan and Shaq have had a much bigger influence on their teams than Kobe. Shaq destroyed teams in the Finals, Kobe hasn't come close to that, not once. Earning titles is a one thing, just having them is another. Replace Kobe on the first Lakers championships with Mcgrady/Ray Allen/fill-in-your-favourite SG at that time, and if you think they would lose, you are crazy. Shaq was a dominating force.

pistol pete was an incredible player but he wasn't top ten in nba because he couldn't go more than 10 seasons and he never won a championship... There is no way or will any expert in the game of basketball will ever agree that Bill Russell or Kareem was better than Wilt. Wilt used to crush Bill, Bill was on a better team. Wilt held his own against Kareem and Wilt was at the end of his career. If he had met Kareem in his prime he would have blocked Kareem's skyhook more often then he did when they met.

The easiest base to go from is valuing players of the 70's at a higher level but not putting the Iceman at Pistol's level.
