@kochanieuk , I would recommend Animation Shop, with that program, you can extract the images from the video, you might want to cut the video down by less than 5 seconds though.
I was listening to CBC news and how dogs can just sence when there dealing with a baby to be gentle, when they're in trouble, Its truley amazing... I also find this video so cute! An unbeleivable friendship :)
Whats all the fuzz about doberman's about. They are not an aggressive race. As i child i lived close to a company who had two doberman's as guard dogs. every now and then i jumped the fence(don't tell my mom) to play with them, which i now know probably wasn't the smartest move. But they've loved having a visit, while on duty. So if even "vicious" doberman guard loves children, i will stick my neck out and claim that they are a very peaceful breed.
@r0cd0x you're so right! They seem some breed of hunting dogs that way, and most people even would't recognize them as dobermans, been more accepted therefore
Our Doberman also loves our one and four year old, they are such a gentle loving breed of dog, we wouldnt be without ours and they are also so handy for cleaning childrens hands and faces!!!!haha

Couldn't help expressing my opinion folks!! In my vision dobermanns shouldn't live in a house at all... Sorry all the Dobe lovers, this kind of vids of dobs with babies are very disturbing and sometimes even disgusting!
@vikkilips Why do you think that? Do you mean all dogs should not live in the home? I say that because every animal can be a danger is not trained. My friend was attacked be a MACKAW, which left him with a scar on his eye, I just don't understand the comment at all.
@kochanieuk I'm with you. When my daughter was a baby my mam had 4 german shepherds and they were great with her. When she was toddling she fell hard onto a fast asleep Hollie who was old at the time and, and I must admit, my heart was in my mouth for a moment as Hollie got a huge fright and looked like she was going to have Erin's face off but as soon as she saw it was her baby she stopped in her tracks and walked away very sheepishly as if she was in trouble. I'd trust dogs over humans anyday
@vikkilips clearly you are one of those stereotype people that just read about dogs and never actually get to know one in person before judging. its people like you that are preventing the bad reputation of big dogs to go away. meet one before commenting
No dog yet......visiting the litter tomorrow. Hoping to get the little animal in about a week and a half. Reading a bunch about how to train/socialize. We are excited.
I adore your videos! We have an 8 month old daughter and a tiny Chihuahua. We pick up our fawn female Dobe around the middle of June and I am hoping they become as close as these two ladies!
We have! She just got her ears done and she's doing great. She is very respectful of the baby already, though our daughter doesn't show much interest in her at this time aside from a little giggle when she walks by.
This is what I want. My wife and I pick up our Dobe in seven weeks. Hopefully the kids show up when the dog is a little over a year old. Your dogs temperament is wonderful. I am envious, and hope to have the same results. You are a lucky man to have such a beautiful daughter and a wonderful dog.
Great video! I especially like seeing a Dobie the way it's supposed to look, not how they look here in America where they "crop" their ears and tails.
I tell you what, a still picture from this video would make a good portrait..

there's a reason why a dog is a human's best friend, even if the human is only just a baby.

can i ask, did you have to train your dog to get it to behave this way? or was she naturally just this docile?

I always wonder when babies babble, are they trying to tell us something or they are just experimenting with noises they can make...
