  • Hi there Rob! Just went looking on YT for vids of these Volpe pieces, and I am doubly/triply happy to see that YOU have recorded these! I know to never have fears of performance quality on anything you put out there, it's always good. Best, David Norton

  • @davinort

Many thanks, David! I look forward to hearing your performances of Volpe's music :-)

Do let me know if you do some.

  • Really enjoy your latest videos. You've got wonderful tone and it must be great to make music the way you do. Best to you...and please keep them coming!

  • I just discovered your channel yesterday and was attracted by the Harry Volpe piece, as I'm a great admirer of his work. I very much enjoy your playing and appreciate the fact that through your style you are keeping alive some of the masters of the past, from whom there is still so much to learn. I love today's Volpe piece, "Romantic," and look forward to hearing more of your efforts.

  • @Trombonology

Many thanks! Appreciated. I'm just discovering the extent of his music. Enjoying the journey.

  • Love those Harry Volpe songs; thanks for uploading them.

Now I will have to buy that Masters of Plectrum Guitar book and overcome my fears of buying a book without an accompaging cd....I hope you'll do more tunes...

  • @daddystovepipe

Thanks. It's a good book, but some tricky stuff in there! I'm just picking the easiest pieces ;-)

  • Nice playing, and the guitar sounds great.

Do you know if tablature or notation for this is available anywhere online?

  • @phyfodor

I don't know. I know you don't want me to state the obvious, but learn to read. The world of music will open up for you.

  • @jazzguitarrob I'm not good at it, but it's not a huge issue.

I just wondered if this was available online in any form. My last couple of packages never reached me, so I'm wary of ordering physical copies of anything.

    Cheers anyway

  • @phyfodor

Actually, it just dawned on me, the book DOES have TAB. LOL.
