  • This particular piece was also described as " Laser Rock " and

played as awesome background music for Laser Shows in NYC @ Hayden Planetarium.

  • Thanks for uploading this brilliant high quality remix as I brought the vinyl in 1982 and the CD in 1990 and at that time the CD mixes were not as good. This remix album was ahead of its time.

  • ddavies1967: With all respect, Mothra sez: this is not the "first of its kind in the remix/instrumental field", killer though it is!

This is a "press", a long(er) record used in clubs to mix in and out of the established (radio or LP) hit, lengthen the dance-floor time, excite the crowd, whatever.

This was meant to be simply an enhancement to the "hit", but it sounds as good today as when it was released! Thanks to hoopysab for the great post!

    Peace to all! Mothra

  • its beautiful music

  • i had this album when i was 12 what an age to be into such music a fuckin classic !!!!!!!

  • Classic vinyl! Everyone had 'Dare' but you had to be cool to have this! Have I got it? what do you think?!

  • @bigbrobunny yep spot on, so glad i found it on here.

  • @letsfireupthe80s

It was great at the time and still is a top remix 'album' (sounds old now!) I dont care what anyone else says, it was COOOOOL for it's time ie 80's!!!

  • meow, meow

  • I had this on tape years ago. Then I heard this used on a radio1 "in djs we trust" special mix and went out and bought it on cd again.

  • Stupendous album - as recommended by the Radcliffe & Maconie show!

Possibly the first of it's kind in the remix/instumental field?

I remember I used to take it around Oxford, playing it on all the big shop hi-fi systems, pretending to be interested in buying them. Got numerous people interested in the album as a result!

  • more people need to know about this album, find it, buy it, listen to it
