What a shame, somebody's old car they took a lot of pride in just died, Looks like the owner already unloaded a powder fire entinguisher on it too.
It might be an electrical fault but i'm glad i spent an hour & tiny bit of money a few days ago replacing the rubber fuel hoses, clamps and moved an in-line glass fuel filter to the front of the car.
Insurance is okay but you never get back all you put in. Even a troll like "Harleybum" will agree with me on that.
Defkon, your a shitstain! ported/polished HAHAHA..its STILL a piece of shit! German engineering? electrical problems, valves that tighten with age, unfused wires in engine compartment, battery that shorts out under the seat and is NOT vented, seat brackets that snap off when rear-ended,oil leaks make smoke INSIDE the car thru the heater, bumpers that do nothing. THEY ARE JUNK and so is yours! A TURD with fresh paint..is still a turd!
Bitch I own a 1973 beetle and its still getting better gas mileage than most of the shit that is out there today. With a rebuilt 1776 with ported and polished heads, dual kadron carbs 69mm cast steel crankshaft, 87mm forged CIMA bolt on pistons and cylinders, as well as dual Monza exhaust, I could fuck you up all over I-10 east or west. Dont talk shit about fine German engineering, you lilly-forksin-fagot sucking bitch. Fuck you 88.
