at first I thought its OK, then I listened some more and wow! Sounds a bit like a zx spectrum game loading in parts (which can also be very musical to certain ears(mine)). So much new music these days is very bland, when this kind of diy electronic stuff is really refreshing and welcome.
I built a six-oscillator (quadrature osccilator) board with a mixer some years ago. It is awesome- I still have it. It's the best fully analog laser control system I've ever seen. The biggest problem it has is with the potentiometer values wandering. You have to keep your fingers on it to keep the shapes steady. This is with the best pots and some of the best oscillators [circa 1990] around.
Hi Whaleforest, nice to see you hear! not too hard - with a breadboard, everything is made easy! (compared to soldering and de-soldering again and again)
very cool especially the distorted effects

It's "microtonal" no doubt because there's no way to keep the darned thing in tune! Love it.

i mean, it stays in tune to itself i suppose. not in tune to other things. or a chromatic scale, for instance! ;-)

Twenty years ago my bud Tom Haydu played his electronic concotion of 32 discordant horns; this is obviously complete ripoff of his work.
