cgi could have done this but it would take someone pretty professional to get all the details right, and a LONG time to render without a render farm. Details present, like the little focusing act the lights do before the craft shoots up...the lighting had particles of dust clearly running through it, and the texture, lighting, and motion of the ship, are all fluid and realistic....obviously I don't know for sure, but it's more prudent to assume in my eyes that hollywood follows reality here.
