  • lol nice landing btw bro my foggiest landing was in VIDP was soo foggy that u cant even see th ground lool after i touched own with the ils approach i check if i actually landed on the runway and i did

  • My plane will not descent when i did'nt informed the tower about my approach...

I tested this a few times...

  • I just did this flight, Its really hard. I used joystick so it helped alittle.

  • Comment removed

  • EVERYONE know that the ALT does not get turned off until the G/S "diamond" has reached the center. Then the ALT hold is OFF and the plane will descend itself. The APP should also be turned on when the diamond is centered. The center means you have intercepted with the G/S.

  • Does anyone know what specs for a new computer would be necessary to run FSX on high settings smoothly?

  • how do you move in the cockpit?????

    Can anyone help me???

  • @marijnkrijgsveld download walk and follow, active camera.

the free way is to go into controls assignments and then find the controls to move around. i believe FS already has default controls like shift + enter, backspace, etc. try them out. if you go into the learning centre watch all the videos youll eventually find one with the default key assignments listed

  • @Grudgefudge you are suppose to arm the loc button first. Once established with the localiser arm the app hold switch. This holds your altitude until you have captured the glidescope.

  • fuck ils whenever i click on approach hold switch, it doesnt turn to where i want to land....i put the frequency and everything..plz helo

  • hey... just for information... turning off the IDENTIFIER ( morse code ) isnt illegal...

on early jets... this was used to indentify 'are you tuning the right freq' by listening the morse code

also... dont land with FULL TANK of FUEL... try to make it below 20000lbs.. 15000lbs is better

    nice vid...

if you want to learn more... search PFD CAM on YT

they have the takeoff and landing vid but they only record the PFD and HSI

    enjoy...

  • If you want to do things like the pros, i suggest something called "Multi Crew Experience". A virtual co-pilot will execute your voice commands while you concentrate on flying the thing. Kiss goodbye to keyboard and mouse. Only joystick becomes relevant.

  • full tank landing?? was that an emergency after takeoff?

  • hey why don't you make video with 0 visibility+manual landing+1 engine failure it will be cool and you will get subscribe 5*

  • @cst1908 why dont you try yourself on FSX MISSION: YAKUTAT MAIL RUN

in that mission you also lose your ADI

  • Not so realistic!

    But a good landing anyway:)

  • you didn´t turn on the landing lights and the passagers signs!

  • lol

  • yes he did

  • great landing i didnt understand the utility of the SC but you made a really nice job. and what did it sound in 5:53¿?¿

  • Easy to land

  • turn off the VOR identificator!!!

  • in those conditions you wouldnt beable to fly anyway

  • Nice video song was cool. I subbed nice job.

  • I am Pilot Myself we should play Multiplayer and I have a question I need to say something over the intercome in the plane in a Free Flight what do I do? I know it is very hard to land In fog I have suceeded it a 100 times

  • What keys do you press to instantly switch between the captain/1st officer seats? I always have to use the ctrl, shft, del, entr keys to move around.

  • the beeping is so realistic howd u do tht? my plane is just normal landings with no beeping and such

  • thats because he did a ILS landing :)

  • ok thx i hvnt been able to actually land using ils besides my landings are never on centerline.

  • watch some ils tutorials they are easy .

    but np :)

  • i need to get landings straight first but i def will learn ils landings

  • It's the Airplanes navagation picking up the ILS signal. Once you recieve the ILS and made sure it's the correct airport, you can turn off call NAV1, which will turn off the beep. Make sure you switch to Nav and NOT GPS. The ATC should send you to a good altitude to pick up the ILS. Usually around 1800 feet to 3000 feet. I think the noise is annoying. Once you are captured on the frequency, Switch to NAV and Vor lock. Once it has a 3 degree glideslope, the airplane will begin its descent.

  • Also, make sure you hit approach hold too.

  • wow, that was a perfect landing, there was no way you did anything wrong like u sed in ur description, ignore that, all i have to say hat is was sweet, :) btw? do you use trackir?

  • hey dude nice landing with that visibility

  • what is the button to pull the map up? plz help!

  • Or just Shift+3 for GPS.

  • When do you turn of autopilot?

  • AP have lot of segments, some of them are turned off earlier, some later.

HDG is turned off on localizer active.

NAV is turned off as you get ILS clearance.

ALT is turned off as soon as on glide slope.

SPD is turned off at final or when RIS (Runway In Sight)

APP is turned off as vacating the runway, as like as AP CMD.

  • @MBfilmer You were in range of the localizer and active on it. Your HDG hold should of been on NAV hold because it automatically aligns with the runway. You landed pretty fast too, that's why you landed so far after the piano keys

  • @MBfilmer You were in range of the localizer and active on it. Your HDG hold should of been on NAV hold because it automatically aligns with the runway. You landed pretty fast too, that's why you landed so far after the piano keys. At least it looked as that to me, if I'm wrong tell me... Good video though

  • @Blobtastic88 if you want the airplane follow the G/S until almost to the ground the best is at 200ft... of you want to test your skill a bit you may want to turn it off at 1000ft or when the plane is about to intercept the G/S

  • You turned on you nav radio or some other radio that doesnt need to be and you got morse code beeps from it. For ILS the nav radio does not need to be turned on at the bottom of the panel (the switch at the bottom). Even if it aint on ILS still works.

  • Heyo

don't you gotta have the runway in sight when you're reaching the minimums? (in case you set them to the local altimeter)

Pls correct me if I'm wrong, only wanna learn.

As if I had been the piolot of this aircraft, I would have gone arround^^

    but nice video!

  • If I was the pilot of this aircraft I would have never landed there and found a place safer. ;-)

Nice landing. It looked as if you were going too fast for it to be a safe landing. I presume its because I was only able to see 200 feet in front of the aircraft.

  • Nice dude!

When do you turn of your AP?

And does the plane descends itself or do you constantely turn on Altitude switch?

Cause i need to do that:P

    Nice landing!

  • when you hit the app button don't touch anthing else. after a bit of the time the alt switch will go off by itself

  • What's mean OMG?????

  • OMG i just wanted to say that

  • oh my god

  • aa yeah its easy

  • No, it's not!!!!!!!!!! That's a normal Boeing 737-800. If you don' t know anything about aircraft it's not worth comment, you are wrong!!!!!

  • @NikitaPilotMen yes it is a normal Boeing 737-800, but it is also called a B738. B738 is the FAA Type name for the aircraft, but its model number is 737-800. So i'. sorry to tell you so, but you shouldn't be talking about Boeing aircraft if u clearly know nothing about them.

  • @im4real101 'r u mad about this?

  • terrific xD

  • jeje,

  • How do you get thr rotating cockpit camera?? nice landing as well!

  • Rightclick -> Cockpit -> Virtual cockpit

Then hold space bar, and move the screen with your mouse!

  • Thank you

  • that happens to me!, wat is the clicking or repeating sound

  • that is the morse code the VOR station sends to the plane so the pilot can identify hes selected the correct vor station... vor (very high frequency omnidirectional range... which is a ground station used for navigation)

  • what plane?

  • FSX's Default B738

  • Comment removed

  • nice, i would have trouble with landing on a bright sunshiny day and here you are putting it down almost in the middle without being able to see what you're landing on until you're right there

  • well if you go high there is no fog and he put on his ils:)

  • Maximum speed for flaps 1 is 230 knots! Also below 10000 feet in the real world you cant go over 250 knots.

  • very nice landing !

  • MBfilmer how could u see the runway with that so much fog

  • I didn't. It was an instrumental approach.

  • good vid.

  • Visibility: 200 Feets

    lol

  • nice...I would like to know what's music you use on the bg

  • MUSIC NAMES PLEASE

  • Nice.. very nice mate.

  • it is not even normal to hear that beep, pilots will hear if it is correct and then they put it off and they know the ils works

  • Most of ;)

  • look i see the airport ils its 110.300 the i put in the radio, then i activate tne nv1 the i put aproach botton and comand pilot but it don t land i don t know plz contest me...

  • Watch an ILS tutorial video i recommend

    Stowes ILS Tutorial

  • Actually, it is not illegal to switch the morse code off. When pilots enter the frequency, they only have it on for a brief time to check if the plane has actually tuned into the ILS, then they can switch the sound off.

Besides, it only distracts the pilots :P

By the way, what was your final landing speed?

  • That's correct for M.C. :)

Final approach speed was 140 knots. I had a lot of fuel left. 100 ft above the runway power is set to flying minimums, and when treshold was passed, and when was sure that safe landing is possible, power went to 0%.

  • hey there what are your computer specs? 5 * And subscribed :)

  • Hi, my computer specs are listet a few comments below ;)

THX for subscribing, more videos coming soon :)

  • really?? your speed looked much faster, more like 180Kts :P

  • I have a question my friend :

how do I set the speed in order to make the aircraft descend exactly to the touch down zone ?

I really appreciate your advise as I am very new in this matter ( fsx ).

  • Well in an auto approach the plane will correct istelf (given that the runway has a localizer and glideslope). A good approach speed is about 150. But you don't need it to be an exact speed to touchdown at the right point. If it's a manual ILS then your ILS display should show you the g/s and localizer. you just adjust your pitch to maintain the proper glideslope. Besides, you will probably want the a/t off on your approach so you can adjust speed as needed.

  • i think my computer has only 1Gb of RAM, i could try upgrading that, as RAM is quite cheap.

  • Great video, nice and smooth! Could I ask, if your approach and landing was so automated, how come you didn't land on the centre line of the runway? I have a intel 3.0Ghz single processor pc which i may buy a new graphics card for, and run fligth sim on, could you recommend one? thanks!! :)

  • Well, AP is turned off at 50 ft, as well as ILS, and I could know where the runway is and can't miss it, but I can miss CL (Center Line), as well as in RL (Real Life). But in this case, I didn't missed it, as you can see at 07:41 video time, the wind just blew me to right side when touchdown happened.

I got ATI Radeon X1950 Pro card, and it's quite good, but I'm searching for a new card, too. Those Nvidias are seem to be very nice, a 512mb ones.

How many RAM do you got?

  • good one! =)

  • If you have questions for ILS , then message me!

    --

    nice..video!

  • yes !! how do you land ils ?? ...

  • how do you work the ILS?

  • RL or game? :)

    Both is complicated :o

  • but it is illeagl to shut off the morse on the ADF

  • It is not illegal to shut off the sound, but signal must be there.

  • specs please ??? :)

  • What you mean? :)

  • I meant what are your computer specification's ? ( what is your system information )

  • Oh :)

Well I have OS MWXP, AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 4000+ 2.11 GHz, 4 GB DDR2 (3 in use), HDD 300 GB serial ATA-II and ATI Radeon X1950 Pro-256 MB.

Soon I will upgrade my PC as new flying software and hardware comes in :)

This flight was very foggy and with very little number of textures, so even a very slow PC would make such a smooth video.

  • hey thanks for the info, how much was your graphics card ? ( i live in england ) thanks again

  • No problem mate :)

I payed for this graphic card about 240£, but I think that now it's cheaper, 'cause it was long time ago when I was buying it :)

  • £240.00 wow, how long ago did you but it ?

  • Well, about year and a half. This graphic card is quite cheap and it's very good. I think today you can find it for about £150-200. I'm still OK with it, but to make FSX work perfectly smooth, I need some better card with at least 512 MB, and a bit faster processor.

    What G.C. do you have?

  • NVIDIA 8800 GT 512MB, how much is the sapphire x1950 512MB pro AGP version ? do you think ? i have 1 gb of ram do you think i should get another for fsx orrr? thanks

  • I don't know mate, maybe around £100?

Well, I recommend you to put one or two GB's of RAM more, 'cause FSX is a really big measuring game. For FS9 1 GB is quite enough, but when i was playing FSX with 1 GB of RAM, it was totally disaster XD

  • ahh i thought so, yeah i'll buy an extra gig, thanks for the info, appreciate it :)

  • hey watch samjells videos flying on fsx, i have the exact same specs as him, and he has really good ffps it runs smoothly, check it out..

  • it is legal to shut off the ils morse code as long as you verified the morse before becoming established on the loc

  • Excellent .....What Screen Recorder and video editor you use?............check my videos also.and comment.....plz

  • nice landing but no flare?

  • Very well done, although, I don't think the FAA allows landings in that thick of fog :P

  • Yeah, it doesn't allow takeoff's, but if the fog came later, plane must land somehow, and technology can help, as you can se ;)

  • divert?

  • wow dude nice!!!!

  • Awesome Landing. I just started messing with the GPS/ILS but I don't know how to approach the runway. Not sure if the plane will land itself or I have to do it, and if the AP has to do it how will it know the right altitude,descent,speed...etc. Sorry I think it's cool and really want to learn.

  • the gps and nav toggle to be at nav and the approach should be on, then it will line you up, but i suggest you watch tutorial's om how to do an ils landing, there are loads and that's how i learnt !! good luck

  • ILS works if the runway has it.

  • fucking guigs cornyy!!!!!!!!!!!

  • or not.

  • nice landing, in this weather

  • how do u do an ils landing woth no atc???

  • well, this was EPL :)

  • and how do you zoom out on virtual cockpit?

  • with + and -

  • how exactly do u land with ILS

  • I'm working on my ILS Tutorial. I will finish it soon, so you can find it for couple of days in my channel. It will help you :)

  • what kind of graphics card r u using

  • I'm using ATI Radeon GC

  • Beautifull landing!

what frecuences did you use in N1 and N2? cause I know that in N1 goes the ILS frecuence, but in N2?

Thank you for showme how is the ILS landing!!

  • can you do a ils? N2 is backup standby

  • befor I saw this video, no. But now sure I can. =)

  • if you dont know i can send you instructions :)

  • how do you set the gps as the ap i cant seem to find it out

  • what is a good altitude to enter the Glide Slope?

  • it depends...about aircraft, weather, airport location, airport distance, current SSD situation...

  • which program you have for recording?

  • I have many of them, but here i used Fraps 2.9.1

  • Err nice landing but I think that ILS is just to easy! I haven't even done all the beginner missions on FSX but I can still do Monsoon Approach its even easier than Telluride Landing because you do no work until touchdown.

  • Well right, but at 140 feet of ahead visibility there is no other way than fly under AP and ILS

  • great landing. But why did you use the wheel breaks so much? Reverse thrust is best, so those on board dont shate themselves

  • Well, reverse is forbidden to use below 60 kts, cause you can destroy engines. In normal landings are used autobrakes, but this is kind of risky landing so you cant take it thatway, so i braked manually. I don't have step brake here (at my home), so when I landed, I used manually brakes which automatically goes to maximum (kind of annoying for fsx :)).

  • very good man, how I do this zoon in cockpit? can you help me? i use FSX too thanks

  • zoon? :)

  • amazing landing I could never do that lol

  • I couldn't do it too couple of years ago ;). Practicing helps :P

  • Whats the name of 3rd music??

  • the last music is called "Explusion"

  • thx

  • nice landing m8

  • cool video hey did u use one of those Headsets for VR cockpit viewing? how did you land in fog too hard for me i cant see and your vids a bit hard for me to understand. But great video i love it!!

  • How can you have fog at 32 kt of wind?

  • i think its a game mate :) (+ some addons and fsx is incredible)

  • Oh it's a game... Sorry mate, I thought that every cockpit looks like it's drawn with trance sounds commin outta it. LOOOL!!!!!

Are you a pilot? Or from Croatia?

  • lol... trance... try to guess

  • Pilot Filip, rodjen u Zagrebu, al radi u Berlinu za Lufthansu... He, he!

  • smooth landing

  • and Wat the fuck is a NOOB..eh ur cool!!

  • thanks for commenting! i appreciate them

  • I love comment arguements

  • haha still you!!haha

  • haha ur a jackass its not illegal to turn off the ils u fool and u can use your flaps above 10000 feet its called slow flight stop bullshiting through ur arse. what u never do is put power to idle before crossing the threshold no matter how much speed you have and your using your gps even though your using the "ILS" u shudnt need it thats what the localizer is for...Ugh i hate people that make shit up!!

  • ok you noob.. first at all, you dont have shit of knowlege about this. yes, its not illegal in albania but some countries are strict about it, no just sound, only signal. flaps: i dont talk about altitude, i talk about speed!! next, i did not put throttle to idle, u dont watch at all...next, u dont have nerves and patient at all, at least for finishing the sentence!!! NEXT: THIS IS FLIGHT SIMULATOR ---GAME (!)--- ... and very next, this is for FUN. NEXT: u dont read at all, so who is jackass now

  • how do u get to turn ur "head" so fast?

  • heh.. the more you move the speed will be higher...i guess :P..thx

  • what do u mean, like did u adjust the hatswitch to move faster or something?

  • no..just move faster...dont knowwhat u mean :P

  • well i didnt know u use track IR

  • who is using trackIR?
