Nice example of dancing salsa on-2. Control and elegance. I am a student of Eddie Torres too. The quality of this video, however, is very choppy. It seems to be skipping frames, so it does not do justice to the dancers. Does anyone else get this same problem or is it just me?

Personally I prefer salsa brava over media driven salsa because it keeps in touch with my roots, plus it's a lot more fun and doesn't need the ballroom posture. I've never been a salsa competitor, but I come from a family of driven salsa maniacs and have salsa danced in puerto rican and dominican dance clubs.

and leg bending isn't bad at all, so long as it is done properly. It helps add flavor to the salsa. "Salsa Brava", "Street Salsa" or however most people would recall it is danced that way, only a lot more fierce in the steps and body movement.
