Great song. The Black Mages' version of this song is pretty great, too. It's called The Skies Above. If I remember correctly, Nobuo Uematsu is their leader and pianist. It's of a little different style, but great nonetheless. If you like this song, you MIGHT like that as well.
So much emotion and beauty is captured in this song, it really relives everything that happens in Final Fantasy 10. The hardship and turmoil the characters go through, especially Yuna and Tidus, as well as the whole of Spira. I know it's just a game but damn did Square create such an atmosphere and emotional bond between gamer and game.

And to reply to an earlier poster...I think it's normal for people to pick out a favorite. Overall, I believe FF7 set the standard as to what a FF (and maybe an RPG in general) could be. But when FFX came out, and added the graphics and voices as it did, it blew us all away.
My ex-girlfriend NEVER played any video games and FFX is one she loved to play and would even bring her to tears. That storyline has so much love and emotion packed into it...

So much emotion and beauty is captured in this song, it really relives everything that happens in Final Fantasy 10. The hardship and turmoil the characters go through, especially Yuna and Tidus, as well as the whole of Spira. I know it's just a game but damn did Square create such an atmosphere and emotional bond between gamer and game.

What a fantastic job. I love this song.
And to reply to an earlier poster...I think it's normal for people to pick out a favorite. Overall, I believe FF7 set the standard as to what a FF (and maybe an RPG in general) could be. But when FFX came out, and added the graphics and voices as it did, it blew us all away.
My ex-girlfriend NEVER played any video games and FFX is one she loved to play and would even bring her to tears. That storyline has so much love and emotion packed into it...
