Yeah, this is the one I was looking for. I don't think I have ever read the side effects of Betaseron. I have the acid reflux though, my knees have been hurting this past week or so, but it has been cold and damp and rainy too so maybe that explains that, and I've also noticed that my blood doesn't seem to clot as fast as it used to when I get a cut or something. This was probably the most fun video to watch...;)
@aeolos58 Thank you for saying that this was fun to watch!! I definitely had acid refulx from Beta Seron, but I didn't have the issue with my blood not clotting as fast. Talk to you soon!!
small to nearly no side effects but regarding to patients big effects: LDN (Low Dose Naltrexone), a monthly supply forless than 40$
CCSVI is supposed to be the reason for ms. this narrowed vein can be opened easy. treated people tell about a 180° advancement.
btw, studies showed that regulary movement (3x/week for 20 minutes) e.g. on a hometrainer, have huge self healing effects on different diseases. there where old people who could walk again, patients with altzheimer went better, ...
Please google 'multiple sclerosis milk'. Some say milk can actually trigger the disease in some and others say it can exacerbate it. Also read what Dr. McDougall has to say about MS as well.
I believe this information to be true enough and that the meat and dairy industry (very powerful lobby in Washington) lies, distorts and suppresses this very important information. Most MD' s will not be on-board as they would rather sell drugs then promote prevention and cure.
Everyone with MS should be tested for food allergies. And then avoid those foods you are allergic to like the plague. Although I don't believe they are the cause of MS. But they no doubt contribute to our problems. Every little bit helps. As the old saying goes you are what you eat.
Great Vid Lauren!! So nice to see a bit of humour - it is good to be able to see the lighter side sometimes when so much is so very serious. Keep up the great work and hey yeah you WOULD make a great teacher. Come to NZ and teach with me ha ha!!!
hehe, the main ingredient in Tylenol is pronounced: uh-SEE-tuh-MEN-ih-fin. ^_^ I only know that because my Mom likes to buy generic, and she asks pharmacists about it.
Love that you listed the side effects of Viagra, haha! I thought you were only going to do MS-related drugs, so when you said that, I totally LOL'd =D
I'm on Beta Seron, but I'm thinking about switching to Tysabri - good to know that you made the transition, and feeling great! Thank you for posting! You're so inspiring =)
Thank you so much for telling me how to pronounce that word! I think it's awesome that you're switching to Tysabri! Keep me posted and let me know how it goes!
I'm glad you liked the Viagra reference! I thought that would keep people tuned in! I hope you have a great week!
Hi Lauren! Wow, in comparing your videos from 2007 to now is incredible. I have had ms now for 33 years. No fun. I will be starting Tysabri shortly-- going through the mri and blood tests now. One thing my doctor said was that now is a good time to start since there are other meds in the pipeline. I may not be on the Tysabri that long. We'll see. But again, you look and sound great. Keep us posted!
Lauren, very interesting ! In fact I recall that Tylenol is a huge killer, and it is the #1 factor in either (or maybe both) female suicides or accidental overdoes deaths in the USA. It should never be taken after alcohol beacuse they both go straight to the liver. And you dont wanrt to die from liver poisining, it takes days on end !
Vince.....you have given your own unique point of view. You dont have to go after her with repeated angry posts, you are implying that Lauren killed some people with this video.
And it is certainly a video of interest if you have been on a lot of drugs, as I and many others have.
I think you know that's not what I was saying - I just have people asking me every day what potential side effects there are with certain drugs and I was bringing it to their attention.
Hi Sandy! Thank you for your message - I wouldn't have gotten anything right if I didn't have the answers in front of me! I hope your second infusion goes well!!
Hey Mody! Haha you are so funny! Maybe I might know some men in Nashville who use Viagra?!? Just kidding!
I'm not sure if there's a relationship between Tysabri and constipation but I know that I have suffered from constipation ever since my MS started, regardless of what medication I was taking. I hope this helps! You can ask your doctor?!
Hey Lauren, I usually enjoy your videos but drug side effects are serious concerns and (at least I think) should not be turned into a jovial game/joke.
Hello - I'm sorry if I offended you but I did not make this video to joke about side effects - I wanted people to be interested in watching and listening which is why I made it a game. We all need to know what could happen if we take these drugs.
Hi Lauren! Ah...the litany of side effects for most drugs can be quite frightening, but, as you said, they have to list them if even one person gets it.
It's good to see you and, yes, football weather is upon us. I love football and am wondering if you are a Lions fan (if so, let me offer my condolences. Ha!)
Hey Vern!! Yeah I know, they have to list everything. It's great to hear from you! I LOVE football and yes, I am a Lions fan...thank you for your condolences...that's hilarious! After today's game we were saying they might just go 0-32!
Hi Lauren! I just came across your videos on utube the other night after doing some research on MS. I have been told the possibiltiy of MS for 3 years now. Most recently another from brief paralasis in my leg. I am going to Brigham and Womens hospital in Boston on Tuesday to the MS center. I am anxious but looking forward to seeing some good doctors. You have given me such a postive outlook already and I want to say "thank you" ! Much health and happiness your way! Valarie
Hi Valarie! I'm so glad I've given you a positive outlook on things! Please keep me posted and let me know how things go on Tuesday. Feel free to ask me any questions!

hi. I was just wondering if people with MS who take Tysabri have to worry more about the immune system and getting sick with things like the swine flu. Are you more vulnerable to getting sick with stuff?

Hi Lauren,
very nice video......pml has been reported in 8 to 10 patients so far, i am not sure on the exact number. Even 1 is a bad thing, though.
10 cases , out of 43,000 users of Ty. is a very small percentage.
deanaugust 2 years ago
Yes it is a very small percentage which is why I'm not worried! Yet I also do everything I'm supposed to do just to be careful.

I knew about the liver side effect for interferon (I just had a liver function test after my first six months on Rebif).
I'm relieved about the coming of autumn, as well! Begone, evil symptoms!
