You forgot the fireworks timing trick, where if you grab the flag when the time ends in 1, 3, or 6, you get that many fireworks, and 500 pts per explosion. You leave the to step, left edge, 3 ticks before desired number. (5 on most arcade versions, some 7).

The reason why in the water there are no power-up' is cuz you can't smash blocks here. For the enemy's the bloopers will die the same way as the fire ball but cheep cheeps turn into Koopa troopas.

That was a very impressive summary of the game thus far; you seem to know a lot of the secrets! About the only thing you didn't mention is world -1 and how to get through it. Also, world 8 is the only one not to have any break points; even if you die close to the end of world 8-1, you start over at its beginning.

Oh!I know another trick to get past the bloopers.If your small Mario,you can stay at the bottom of the ocean and they won't be able to get you because they force them selves back up to where they can never touch the oceans floors.If your Big Mario,just duck at the bottom of the ocean floor and they can't get you either.Try it.
