Obviously one blogger hasn't paid attention. The film clip is from the final chapter of "Perils of Nyoka" Satan, the giant gorilla, is obviously coming to Vultura's aid. Love the expression of his face when he realizes he stab bed the wrong woman.
I've created better idea - "Love, death and revenge", when Kay takes a revenge on evil boss Michael Jackson for her love - 8 years old boy, who was raped and then commited suicide. This evil boss lives in luxury villa "Neverland" with many bodyguards - eskrimadors, sumoists, giant basketball player. And she must fight them all, before she can come at their boss. It's smth. like Bruce Lee's "Game of death".
@gamecock366 The woman who gets killed "Lorna Gray" (Vultura) who is flashing the 1942 panty style of the day at 1.18 no doubt to her annoyance with the producer is still alive...born in 1917. Kathleen Aldridge Tucker who is Nyoka (and more sensibly attired for a fight scene) was born the same year but died in January 12 1995
I got to meet Katherine Aldridge Tucker at a film festival years ago. While she had put on some weight, she still retained the charm of the Nyoka we saw on the screen. She told me about her grandson watching the fight between her and Vultura (Lorna Gray aka Adrian Booth). Apparently the little guy didn't like the dirty tricks Vultura was using to win because his comment was "That lady doesn't fight fair, does she Grandma." Ex circus performer Emil Van Horn played the part of Vultura's gorilla
Yes, Kay Aldridge even in her later years looked as young girl - it's a PHENOM. I can say why - she never smoked, never drank vodka, never hang in bars, also never did plastic surgery.
In contrast Lizzie Taylor in the age of 60 looked like a Frankenstein, coz she smoked as a steamer and drank as a fiddler. And plastic surgery turned her into monster. Modern girls turn old very quickly - in 30 years typical modern girl looks OLDER than Kay in 62.
This is an amazing cat fight between to beautiful women, its a shame that when watching the full version it was edited and not enough of this fight was shown. These women were the two main characters they should of had a good solid 10 to 15 minutes catfight not just 2 to 3 minutes.
I don't like "catfights", but since teens dream about tall and strong girl who would protect me from abusers. She ("girl of my dreams") is also same 6' tall and have same fresh, tender, innocent face as Kay. With me she's tender, loving, affectionate. I suppose, Kay have also protected weaker boys from bullies in her school days. It was the reason to transfer her into girl's school, coz bullying is too common among young boys and her tender, perceptive soul couldn't suffer it.
Kay in this movie also fought against many male goons and she's enough strong. Good sample of her strength: By making of "Nyoka" she have injured two tough and strong stuntmen (of course no weaker ones!) in fights, coz she couldn't imitate fighting and also have remembered her school days, when she fought for real against real bullies.
Of course IRL such girls as Kay now went all the way of dodo. So I'm alone and it will be so all the rest of my life!
Yes,the ape WOULD be hilarious because HE,in reality,is a man wearing a gorilla costume!!LOL
NO real jungle or zoo ape has *moves* LIKE THAT!!
The so-called catfights are also patently phony because husky female AND male stunt doubles are deployed for roughest and toughest sluggings and grapplings!!And it is precisely the amateurishness of the proceedings which make the frenetic catfights and the gorilla rampages so hilarious and entertaining!!
