  • best movie I've ever seen. Amasing.

  • This is the best movie I've ever seen. I don't say that lightly. I love movies and have seen everything. WAR HORSE is better than anything I've ever seen.

  • This was my favorite book when I was younger! Seeing it soon.

  • what's the music from 0.20 to 0.35 ? i love the tune so peaceful.

  • Terrible those dry-stone walls for Cumbria.

  • @henriquedematos the horse doesn't fucking die you idiot. Read the book.

  • The Theatre production is absolutely magnificent. I had tears in my eyes near the start just because of how clever the set up was, but the ending was so beautiful. Everyone at the show were crying and sobbing. The book is equally brilliant. I just can't wait to see the movie.

  • fail movie is fail

  • i have just read the book i can not wait until the movie comes out so excited

  • @Princeofpain1011 The movie has been out since Christmas Day. I saw it already it's amazing. Still have to read the book though.

  • @FranKoAmerica do you live in america because it has only just came out 13th january in england

  • I wanna watch this movie, cuz I owned a dog. So I know what it's like to bond with an animal.

It's not easy to describe. Cuz it's just a feeling.

  • @jname96 It is sad i did not cry but i herd people terring up in the background such a good moive tho go watch it if you get the chance

  • I don't wanna see the porno version. :(

  • @ henriquedematos you obviously haven't seen the movie because the horse DOESNT die so I wouldn't go around saying people are retarded especially if you are...

  • This was an amazing movie! Truly the best horse movie I've seen in years!

  • I started laughing my ass off at 1:26 when the cavalry was torn to pieces by the machine guns and you start to see horses without any men riding on them. Anyways it was a great movie lol.

  • just watching this trailer makes me wanna see the movie but i cant lol too sad have to be bymelf and this movie shows everyone a horse is as smart as us and sometimes can outsmart us i own a horse and she reminds me of this horse in the movie just a little...but i wouldnt have the heart to put her in war

  • i saw this yesterday and thought it was awesome it keep making me cry when they play that one beat from the trailer and it was well made most videos don't have that effect anymore

  • 1:57 and 2:00 HOT!!!

  • Spoiler Alert!!! I think they should have had the part where the 2 guys from each side (one Germany, one British) getting together and being nice and kind to one another helping Joey (the horse) and making jokes and relizing that this war was pointless and put that in the trailer! Amazing movie!!!

  • @lexidurr Its called a spoiler dumbass.

  • Seen it yesterday and found it awesome, touching and beautifully filmed. Just when I thought they don't make movies like this anymore!

  • i just hope it has more to do with the great war to end all wars than it does taking for the war to start

  • im going to go watch this in a couple of hours

  • i just saw this yesterday.

    it was MAGNIFICENT!!!!

  • Hope the film, lives up to the West End Theatre production as i cried the entire way through it.

  • If there was ever a movie solely designed to win awards, this is it. Cheesiest fucking trailer I've ever seen.

  • Too many corny, saccharine scenes.

  • @SomeLittleShoe Have you even seen it?

  • @adamissofreakinhot

    .

    Of course I've seen it.

  • @adamissofreakinhot

    .

There is a segment of people that are all emotional about the movie, saying they even start crying when they watch the trailer. They must be suckers for animal stories. If you are someone like that then go to it.

    .

I thought it was predictable and over the top saccharine.

  • @SomeLittleShoe I've already seen it, dummy. And it's not predictible!

  • @adamissofreakinhot

    .

Wow, I must have inadvertently touched a nerve.

    .

Like I said, if you're a sucker for animal movies you'll love it. Otherwise you may find it syrupy, hokey, shallow, and completely predictable.

  • @adamissofreakinhot

    .

I never was much for movies like Black Beauty, Flicka, Benji, Free Willy, Lassie, etc But if you like those kind of movies then you'll probably cry at War Horse.

    .

War Horse has it as a given that you have to like animal movies to like it. Otherwise you may find yourself waiting for the movie to end so you can get out and do something interesting with your time. It all depends on the person. One's not right and the other wrong. It all depends on tastes

  • @SomeLittleShoe Ok I knew this already! Shut up ok? >.>

  • @adamissofreakinhot

    .

Well, when you have sole possession of the internet you can tell people to shut up.

    .

    Relax!

  • If you don't care about deep characters, if you want your emotions to be manipulated, if you want to spend time predicting what is coming next, and being right, if you want be left wanting at the end of the movie, then go on and see it.

    .

BTW, it's not a Spielburg 'masterpiece', as some are calling it.

  • a terrible movie, it was so slow. couldn't finish it.

  • @holymoutain

. I don't know so much if it was slow, but rather if the story was so shallow and unengaging. It didn't make mental leaps, it made emotional leaps.

  • @SomeLittleShoe hm...maybe i should give it another try later.

  • @holymoutain

    Whatya mean?

  • @holymoutain the ending was great! i suggest you finish it.(:

  • This movie was spectacular and I would recommend it to everyone...a real heartfelt tearjerker that can honestly be considered one of the top.....wait a minute.....I didn't see this!!!

  • Okay I saw a comment about world war 2...this is about world war 1 fool...trench warfare hello?!

I hope this film turns out to be good though. Or could it just be saving ryans private pet horse?

Agreed the horse obviously dies. Or the young lad, someone or something dies. But not without the horse grabbing a rifle and bayonet charging some enemy trenches.

  • This kinda reminds me of Black Beauty...and I love Black Beauty !!! :0 War Horse looks like the horse makes a friendship and then tragically dies at the end , I mean really that happens in every horse movie[:|

  • Comment removed

  • @henriquedematos the horse does not die. read the book you idiot

  • this movie will make us all cry hard in the end.

  • This movie has already clinched it ... Oscar for the Best Movie

  • heheheheh 1:06 is the part i assume most people came to see

  • @ImCarrotsforBananas What part are you talking about? The part with Tom Hiddleston, or the part with Jeremy Irvine?

  • @nikieg96 tom hiddleston(;

  • @ImCarrotsforBananas Definetly!! hehe :P

  • @ImCarrotsforBananas why that??

  • @bandfire1 Tom of course. Let's not forget Cumberbatch is there too but not as obvious.

  • @ImCarrotsforBananas Most definitely :D

  • Comment removed

  • @ImCarrotsforBananas most definetly! love him in the movie! such a handsome actor(:

  • the 3 reasons that i am seeing this movie: 1) Tom Hiddleston, 2) Steven Spielberg, & 3) John Williams :D

  • Tom Hiddleston is one flawless man!

  • Saw the play last week. Incredible! Looking forward to the movie.

  • i love horses

  • Well, another tearjerker from Spielberg. It will be visually stunning. But forget about learning anything from actual war, or other realities. It is there to "confuse the eye and confound the understanding" while in the midst of two wars (no nice horsies there) and a severe economic downturn. Ahh well.

  • wouldnt it be a better movie about dogs in world war 2 and how sad it was when a dog died and how it affected its owner or the other way around

  • I'm so going to gooo watch this movie makes me want to buy a pony :)

  • @SHOWMONEY5 ur so fucking gay u stupid faggot!! I know u want to go to prison so u can get but fucked...hehehe!!

  • ahh a love story between a boy and his horse what a lovely film

  • Is that....Sherlock riding a horse?

  • This movie in some way reminds me of black beauty, seeing things from a horse's point of view and all. :)

  • @RosesareAllie That's what I thought too

  • aaaw benedict cumberbatch with mustache. <3

  • These monkeyheads that have no clue about these horses in WW1 ... get over it .... they had no choice ... hundreds of thousands from the UK, AU, NZ, etc. .... they had no choice but to serve their countries - this is about them

  • Love this preview ... but was reminded from vets looking at our hotel for a reunion a year down the road ... they told me ... the UK had their horses in WW1 ... but they stressed .... the US had their dogs from WW2 onward .... another movie perhaps? :)

  • Saw a pre screening of this today. Incredible film.

  • Tom Hiddleston's in this movie?! I love this man, am so watching this!

  • I love the book and can't wait to see the movie

  • go an see the movie first and than criticise you twats..

  • tom hiddleston <3 :) need i say more

  • okay, war for the boys, horses for the girls, cumberbatch for the fangirls, big screen moments for the cineastes...... but I still don't really see the point :(

  • LAME!

  • @HippoDeLaGrande1998

please write me a mail and tell my who died. die boy or the horse?

  • I Was an extra in this movie and wow let me tell you, it was fantastic!

  • @RockerWarrenMOViES Seriously? Maybe one of the dead soldiers?

  • it will not be as good as the stage show now that was an amazing thing to see

  • a veteran horse.....hehehehe...

  • would wonder does Spielberg ever sleep..?this year alone the movies he has directed..(War Horse, Tin Tin)..the movies he has produced...(Super 8, Cowboys & Aliens, Transformers, Real Steel,) the TV series he has produced (Terra Nova, Falling skies,) and those in production (Men in Black 3, when world's collide, Lincoln, Who framed Roger Rabbit 2, Under the Dome, The trial of Chicago 7,) too many to mention..but I think he is the busiest guy in Hollywood

  • @TAHOKMUSIC he is a jew.

  • @donnytony I know

  • the boy joined army to get to his horse? i wish someone loved me like that..reminded me of tahaan

  • i hope the horse win the oscar for best actor XD

  • @fj23labeouf lol me too :)

  • @fj23labeouf It was multiple horses who played the part of Joey... but yes, the horse(S) definitely get the award hahaha!

  • What the fuck is wrong with you haters? Do you have any fucking idea of what the horses did in WW1? Probably not, so clue the fuck up before you hate on a movie that will win Oscars...

  • @crankCINEMA Well, what did they do? Seriously, it's like making a movie about a truck from WW2.

  • @SAsgarters Hahah.. You are terrible wrong, but i still giggled..

  • @crankCINEMA

Do I have any idea what the horses did in WW1? Well I know what the men did. They died. They died in mass numbers just to move the front lines that little bit further. You want to see what WW1 was like, you just need to see the footage of men going "over the top" only to get shot in the head and fall down straight away.

The very idea of making this overly sentimental romanticised nonsense about horses when tackling that horrifically tragic war makes me sick.

  • @Fatpie42 And a million great movies have been made about the men, you don't think the horses deserve 1? You're an asshole, honestly. Every single Australian horse that went to WW1 died or was sold off, none of them returned home, I don't know about other countries but I'm sure it was the same deal. People need to know about the special bond between animals and men, especially dogs and horses since they made a larger sacrifice per capita. You're one of those 'stupid animals' people though right?

  • @crankCINEMA

"Every single Australian horse that went to WW1 died or was sold off"

That the horses from Australia were sold off is unsurprising. If there's a choice between selling the horse or sending it back to Australia, which do you think is better for the horse. As for horses dying in WWI, well, no s*** Sherlock.

I'm not sure the sacrifice of the horses really adds up to the enormous loss of life of human beings in WWI. The former just doesn't hold the same emotional weight as the latter.

  • @Fatpie42 Ignore everything I said... 'And a million great movies have been made about the men, you don't think the horses deserve 1?' we should remember that mankind is not alone in this world, and horses loyalty overcomes their sense of danger and they road into battle. The same with dogs and other animals, in fact I think a movie like this will probably pull my heart strings more than anything else, because of animals innocence. You would call me a pussy, but ever animal owner agrees with me.

  • @crankCINEMA Love your post, spot on. I am taking lots of tissues with me when I see it on Friday...

  • @crankCINEMA I agree. People who don't like/respect animals just don't GET that animals gave VALUE in the world too.

I agree that humans are the most mentally "intelligent" beings on earth, but it does not make all other animals obsolete by comparison.

Far from it. We all belong on earth.

  • Really?

  • Oh I can't wait! I'm going to ball in this film! Another nomination for Best Picture? Likely so!

  • Loki went back in time to kill Captain America but ended up in the wrong time xD

  • @VirtuosoVentura

ugh, don't even joke about that waste of a movie

  • @VirtuosoVentura What?

  • @writersblock26 The guy in the movie is Tom Hiddleston, who played Loki, Thor's brother, enemy to The Avengers, including Cap. Ring a bell?

  • @VirtuosoVentura Well, I never saw the movie (nor, for that matter, had any particular inclination to see it), but I will take your word for it.

  • Be brave

  • So gay

  • LOKI!!!!

  • I'm going to see the play in March in Toronto, =D

  • If I see this movie it is only because hiddleston is in it
