  • I cant lie I use 2 love this shit back in the day. Now its TEXAS DEATH METAL.SHITS BRUTAL.Check out how were doing it down here! Look up-(PROPHECY) or (INTERMENT-corpsual compulation) just to name a couple. Then come back 2 this. Shits weak. TXDM

  • @BigDaddy4046 the texas scene is fucking sick

wish we had shit like that here in VA

  • its metal!!!!

  • This takes me back. Anyone else remember the Roadrunner demo cd that had two songs each from these guys, Coal Chamber, Fear Factory and a few other RR bands? Fuck I wish I could go back to then.

  • @Ministryofdeath1996 Kid, if you think this is nu metal, you have to get your ears checked. Then again, much as I hate to admit it, you extreme metal fags are some of the most dumb, pretentious people I've seen, so I really shouldn't be surprised.

  • @FormOfKorn Think back to when this came out. If you were dressing like these guys and went from screaming to badly singing, then you got lumped in with the Limp Bizkit, Deftones, Hed PE, nu-metal crowd. I always thought Machine Head were without a genre and that has hurt them. It's like they try to be as heavy as thrash bands, but don't have it in them all the time. Oh well, they still make great songs.

  • @Ministryofdeath1996

You clearly havent heard the new album

  • Flynn, comeback to roots!!! bitch

  • I really just do not like this song. In my opinion the only good part is the beginning, the beginning is badass. The rest of the song however, to me, is just terrible. The song name is ten ton hammer i was expecting it to be heavy as shit and I guess it is but I hate how it gets soft it just doesnt go along with the name. Feel free to respond to the comment but if your just gonna talk shit and try not to reason with me .....get a life

  • @DEVASTATIONxMAYHEM Here is the thing; if someone is beating you with a ten ton hammer it's going to hurt. Then he has to cock back to swing again. You need the break in between to feel the pain. Same in music. If it's all 100% full-force-can't-slow-down-or-leave-a-note-uncompressed there is no space to be devastating.

Dime was the last great metal guitar player because he used the space well and still killed it. I think maybe Loomis is the best example currently.

  • @DEVASTATIONxMAYHEM I agree, I wanted to like this song more than I do. It has its moments, but it just doesn't work all together. To me the song starts to lose it right at the verse, I mean cmon, it's just a harmonic note and unintelligible whispering, how is that supposed to really get u amped up for an album opener?? They did the harmonic thing way better with Davidian... hell they did everything better with Burn My Eyes in general.

  • @travistotle Unintelligible whispering? I can understand it. Maybe you are simply unintelligent?

  • Tent on Hammer :D

  • metal at its best!

  • get to tha choppa

  • You fucking kidding me? advertising? mothafucka's

  • @skari121 huh? they never put no ad on for me... maybe im special (thats what they tell me anyhow)

  • heavy metal at its best.

  • @TheBenno32 And Metallica's Kill Em' All through Black Album era , but Metallica's still FUCKING AWESOME .

  • Good Times...

  • +wish i could smash my cheating ex-wife with a 10 ton hammer

  • I don't need to hear some weirdo female singer/songwriter in some car add before i hear machine head...

  • <3

  • dont buy any ad in these vidieos!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Logan mader = phil demmel > ahrue luster

  • @guitarzane97 phil demmel > anybody else

    hahahaha

  • in my opinion machone head are the most succesfull band of 2011

  • Need more volume on my laptop speakers!!

  • which jersey is that one on robbs?

  • classic!

  • Comment removed

  • Classic, when this band were still good.

The riff makes me think of Godzilla carrying King Kong on his back whilst walking through a tar pit.

  • @spiderjerusalem100 Through The Ashes up to Unto The Locust are as good as the classic era of Burn My Eyes & The More Things Change, at least in my opinion.

  • @Malikarcanum I agree 100%

  • This fucking album is so awesome.

  • 100% testosterone!

  • @kolonnizado Hahaha that made my day!!

  • shite

  • I sware, every time i see rob flynn hes a different person..

  • GLASSS OOPS I WAS HEAD BANGIN LOL

  • LIKE BROKEN YOULL SHATTER WITH BLOODY FISTS ILL BATTER LIKE A TEN TON HAMMMMMMMEEEERRRR SONNNNN

  • Just got back from seeing them at Wembley Arena, this song was sick !!!

  • Gonna see them in a few hours! :)

  • @GodendtheDevil Gonna see em in Manchester on Tuesday :D

  • @GodendtheDevil No one cares

  • I'd hate to say this but his voice always fucking annoyed me... I have nothing against this band but that voice irritates the ears... Oh well

  • I could use a ten ton hammer on my face

  • i know... these things are old, but it has to be said - 8 people got hit by a ten ton hammer

  • Is it just me or do they sound a little like Korn here? I don't know, this is fucking awesome :D

  • @shishkebab0dude666 Same era. 1st Machine Head album and 1st Korn album came out a couple of months apart.

  • @shishkebab0dude666 dude thats exactly wt i thought ay. reminded me of clown

  • The 'groove' metal bands.

Prolly the only place other than earlier metal-core where breakdowns can still be bad-ass without being annoying.

  • @CoffmanTron3000 Metal is like an apple, it's better without the core. \m/\m/

Machine Head are BETTER than MOST metal bands NOW

  • I've seen these guys in barcelona two days ago... It was amazing to sing this song with them!!!!! Can't wait for the next concert!!! MACHINE FUCKING HEAD!

  • 13/11/11, MfH in milan.....wow,epic night!

  • 2 words : LOGAN MADER

  • @porrupatata It's like Machine Head gets its main influence from lead guitarist, you can see it on every album. I like Phil Demmel a lot, but current neo-trash trend Machine Head are sporting does not amuse me. :(

  • Tickets to Wacken Open Air 2012 bought! I can't fucking wait!!! And I saw them 2 days ago too! :D

  • machine fucking head!

  • machine heads so fucking badass

  • is it just me or does the first minute of this song make anyone else want to fight...or mosh ?

  • Con los puños sangrientos voy a la masa con los huesos rotos se rompen como un Ten Ton Hammer sol, el Sr. Flynn viene desde el lado más duro y más pobres de la vida, no es judío, pero a pesar de la opinión popular hispánica.

The twat doing the john trovalta impression come out on a strethcer/

    La borrosa Un pagano

  • hey gues what it's HAMMER TIME!!!!

  • That fucking harmonic beeeeep is fucking annoying. This sucks shit.

  • @JEKAZOL ehm, no

  • @JEKAZOL i love it!!

  • @JEKAZOL Everyone has their own musical preferences. I happen to love the way Machine Head uses harmonics! \m/

  • @JEKAZOL Are you insane? That's the fucking best thing about the song!

  • @MjmanDK It gives me a headache. This band is so fake and fashionable I want to puke.

  • @JEKAZOL Wow. But then.. Why are you even on this video? And why are they fake? You'd rathher want Phil just to be back in Vio-Lence?

  • @MjmanDK I was curious about what they did after BME. I think they are fake because they follow every trend over the years, but I fully understand that that's not everone's view. Robb's personality and clothes just wind me up! lol. Thanks for the replys - I guess I'm a bit miserable sometimes. That whole Nu Metal vibe just grates me.

  • @JEKAZOL I have never ever heard anyone play music exactly like The Blackening. And I sure as hell would NEVER call this NU metal. I dispise that shit :)

  • @MjmanDK I guess it just comes down to a vibe that I feel is very appealing to teenagers and not middleage fuckers like me. Thanks for the debate. Check outthe album: Gabriel by Believer, you may be suprised. Peace. out.

  • @JEKAZOL Hmm maybe I don't know. I'm almost 21 so I'm not exactly a teenager. But my favourite band is Pantera so I guess it helps a bit.

  • @JEKAZOL

it's your problem boy... just it's your problem!!!

  • i wish a ten ton hammer would smash justin bieber :]

  • feels like a Korn-esque video

  • f... me!!! what the shame clothes he wear`s ?

  • @Duzterman Why does that make him any less awesome, people are free to wear what the fuck they like!

It's good that he doesnt dress as the generic metalhead that are all the same!

  • @Stalkingtigeruk It`s a tradition to dress generic metal clothes... i think

Why bikers doesn`t wear wide trousers, like rappers?...

Becouse they r not the clowns like thise))))

  • @Duzterman If you have no mind of your own maybe... some people are not sheep and dress how they want.

I think his personality and music speak for itself.

  • @Duzterman you're so lame

  • @Duzterman why don't you upload a pic of your clothes, kid...

  • @ironmikeva Leave the poor kid alone, he gets so much stick on here, I feel sorry for him.

  • @Duzterman his clothes were way cool then than the gay black sleeveless tshirt with the heart that he always wears now

  • Dude what the uck are you talking about? anyway as I was going to say before you started going on about your inhibitions? I was saying it is amazing how many bands have been influenced by Machine Head, they have that non Pantera philosophy approach I saw Machine Head gig at the Town & Country club in England Leeds, Machine head/ Sepultura influence the Latino, the indigenous pagans the proletarian man and under dog , they don't suck where the system is concerned

    PG

  • i´m gonna hit you in the nuts, with a Ten Ton Hammer haha :D

  • @anothermetalhead14 Without a doubt man! They were the main reason I even went. I could honestly give a shit less about Disturbed and Godsmack..Machine Head should've been headlining that show!

  • Anyone know what guitar the dude is using, not rob the Flying v guitar.. Anyone know what make it is?

  • badass song!

  • great great album

  • *sigh...* yet another reason why i don't listen to the radio anymore... lack of actually good bands like this.

  • Wooooooooooo

  • I love this brutal old Machine Head stuff, and at times it literally can not be beaten IMO, but I'd usually rather sit down and listen to a masterpiece like Halo or Locust off the new album... the melodic, newer Machine Head is an improvement IMO.

Having said that I'm seeing them live in December and they BETTER play this/Davidian... best moshing songs ever!

    MACHINE FUCKING HEAD!

  • Quite uninspiring. Like most of Rob Flynn's crap.

He should give up music and rely on fame by bashing

better bands, like he's used to dong.

  • @surgeonofdemise Nobody's making you watch this video. Or was there actually someone holding a gun to your head while you watched this?

  • @DemonDays1993 The gunman had taste, the 'victim' didn't

  • I guess this would be the most friendly crime ever :)

  • @DemonDays1993 not a gun, a ten ton hammer lol.

  • MACHINE FUCKING HEAD \m/

  • Two fists ten sun, rob and crew hitting to you with the true facts. you like to see me blamed you like to see me fall you like to see me suffer, seeing the lies for what they are, no fashion label here eat this it two swan of barrels, I effing heard that bro

Guerrero pagano, azteca y no enturbiado

  • rob looks like mike muir with the bandana

  • Sometimes I want to turn into a ten ton hammer and fuck up shit.

  • @S2thefuckingS well said

  • The difference between the bands that i see mentioned here and Machine FUCKING Head is the fact that they are nothing compared to them live.

  • Dynamite guitar riff here:).

  • This song is heavier than a ten ton hammer.

  • @RaMbOwgINI huh idk what that means... and im not a bro!! def a girl!

  • thumbs up if you must headbang while this song!

  • chorus always reminded me of Alice In Chains a bit

  • :) i like all those bands too, you have good taste in music!

  • @comingXundone thanks

  • just got introduced to this band today... LOVE IT!!! know anymore good bands like this??

    -Mallory

  • @comingXundone barely any

  • @TH3C0RPS3R well F U C K... thats lame!

  • @comingXundone if you ask me, my favorites are machine head, korn, pantera, evile, fear factory, disturbed and hatebreed.

  • @TH3C0RPS3R Great picks man \,,/

  • @giantcornhole yeah, thanks dude

  • @comingXundone Closest I can find is Biohazard, Sepultura and Korn's first album.

  • @comingXundone Listen to Fear Factory & Synthetic Breed.

  • @comingXundone Check out Neurosis.....not groove metal like Machine Head but I think you should listen to them.

  • @MrThrashtothebone okayyyy thanks i will check it out :)

  • @comingXundone Might be a little too heavy and dark for you? lol

  • @MrThrashtothebone mmhmm and why do you think that? cuz im a girl!! :)

  • @comingXundone lol maybe, tbh. It's not exactly a "gateway" band.

  • seein them at mayhem fest on saturday 7/30/11 in bristow, va. MFH DISTURBED IN FLAMES TRIVIUM MEGADETH R GONNA DESTROY!!!

  • saw them at mayhem fest in mansfeild, and all i have to say is i love this band! Happy late birthday Robb Flynn!

  • I started to hear machine head just because of this song. Simple , heavy with clear sound and bus. I didn't find a lot more songs like this , maybe take my scars and some more from that same album...

  • Machine Head Is A very Talented Band!!

  • jus saw them live at mayhem fest. they fuckin KILLED IT!. MACHINE FUCKIN HEAD!

  • @MamadSatan shut up

  • 3 Dislikes.....They just don't get it man.

  • TMTC and TBR were the only cd's that played in my car from like 97-2000. Supercharger had me with Bulldozer then left me like my black daddy from the 3rd song on. Maybe I should give their newer stuff a listen.

  • Thank god a band without annoying screams

  • perryoparsons did you have restricted airflow in the birthing canal?

  • Comment removed

  • ..the more things change is a freakin monster of an album!! easily there best in my opinion. the dynamics that they have in there songs is atmospheric! just takes you too a whole other place, and just makes you think.

  • @rutbuck12

both first two albums are terrific

  • 2 gay!!!!!

  • I love Machine Heads first two albums - the first for it's well written modernization of thrash metal. The second for it's raw power, showcasing it's groovier aggression. I consider them an influence on my band No More People. You can click on my name to check out the video for our song "In The Dollar We Trust."

  • @nomorepeopleband Nice. Now learn the proper spelling of "its" and we'll take you seriously.

  • @toadman842 I wrote what I meant. Here's my original statement put another way: "I love Machine Head's second album, for it is (aka it's) raw power..." because The More Things Change is Machine Head stripped down to their raw power. After all, Lemmy was the editor of a high school magazine. If worse comes to worst, then raw power and erratic punctuation can kick it in style and even an editor such as Lemmy would let the occasional stray mark slide in the name of rock n' roll.

  • @toadman842 Arguing on spelling is such a proof of immaturity... Life offers different education levels to different people, just because you've been lucky doesnt give you the right to be so condescendant with others.

  • @jbard80 *doesn't

  • @toadman842 U R such a faggot xD

  • @nomorepeopleband What about The Blackening?

  • @guugugh I fell out of the loop when "The Burning Red" came out. I know they've done better stuff since "The Burning Red," but I'm honestly not familiar enough with it to judge any of their albums except their first three. I thought "Halo" rocked. "Now I Lay Thee Down" wasn't my thing. Don't know enough about "The Blackening" to say any more than that. So I shoot your question back to you - what about "The Blackening."

  • @nomorepeopleband I suggest you should check out the whole album of The Blackening, epic songs length, intense thrash riffs, it got me into Machine Head.

  • @guugugh Same here. I've been loving them since.

  • @nomorepeopleband Check out the song "Wolves" from The Blackening Album. It's my favorite and you will fucking love that masterpiece too!

  • @nomorepeopleband I suggest the same, plus their new album, Unto The Locust is amazing.

  • @guugugh and through the ashes

  • This song and Vader's "Impure" are so fucking immense. Horns up! \m/\m/

  • This reminds me of body hammer by Fear Factory for some reason
