I just discovered this artist today and really enjoy her music. I was curious though does anyone know what this song is about exactly? Or rather what are your interpretations of the song. It's very beautiful but kind of sad, too.

i remember a peel session she did in may/june 2004. one of her band was doing throat singing! really magical session. cant believe i missed her n jeff lewis in manchester last year!
