Vauxhall is just a car and engine manufracture named by a part of london

and most of  the cars they sell are opel

@thomashughes2000 This is probably the UK version where they sell Opel's as Vauxhall's. In the US we don't have either one so we got Opel.

No idea, my GT2 disc has been broken for a while now (8 years to be precise :P). Not bothered with an emulator, though might someday when Nostalgia takes hold.

Maybe its under Acura?

The PAL/Europe version gets both, depends on the language settings. They are sister companies, but Opel is the worldwide brand, whereas Vauxhall is just UK (i think)

God i hate this Opel vs Vauxhall crap.

Earlier today i was playing Gran Turismo 4. There was the Vauxhall and Opel Astra touring cars. They're exactly the same in spec and cost. But the Vauxhall cannot be used in the German Touring car championship... I wasted 550k of my fucking money!!

And the VX220/Speedster models are the same.

Seriously Polyphony, just bundle it all under one or the other. Or you could just put in all under a big sign saying 'GM' or 'Bankrupt', makes no odds...

@MyMistirious the cars are the same yes but actually opel is developing and designing all the cars. vauxhall just put their brand on it and make them left side drive. its because their both part of GM and GM decided it that way. also opel are not allowed to sell anywhere else then europe (except for the uk) because GM is afraid they could become succesful in the US or Asia. And vauxhall are just copying opels stuff and put their shitty brand over it. then they rename the cars and sell em intheuk
