It's funny cause if u look at the beginning when Wendy 1st joined P's band, she dressed like him, cut her hair like his, and basically bit his style. Susannah, her twin is fine, and Wendy is talented. Lisa is extremely talented.

Too bad that they hate their costumes.

I didn't know much about Prince (or The Revolution) so back in the day I always thought Wendy and Lisa were sisters and I remembered having a huge crush on Wendy (I still think of her when I pick up a guitar).

And the first time I saw them was (with Prince) in the Purple Rain video and I absolutely loved those costumes.

Fashion has changed a lot since the 80's but deep in our heart we all love the ''costume days'' (and the big hairdos).

@MrDunkJunk Musicians don't wear costumes. They wear stage clothes. I have so much respect for Prince as an artist and entertainer. He is a rare combination of both. You never saw Prince or his band members looking like a bunch of ditch diggers. They always got dressed up. And you never saw anyone in his band looking at their shoes all night. Prince's bands have to play well, sing backup, move their feet and have some stage presence. They give fans their money's worth.

He always puts on the best show he can ever put on... he's in his 50's now but he still looks pretty flamboyant.

@MrDunkJunk Your English is very good. The difference between stage clothes and costumes is minimal. And some of the clothes Prince's band members wore looked like costumes. Keyboard player Matt Fink usually wore doctor's scrubs. Part of "Sign "☮" The Times" was filmed in Rotterdam. Is Prince very popular in Holland?

He is still very popular.

I didn't see the show cause by the time I found out about it.. it was allready sold out.

They kept it a bit quiet, probably because the place where he was performing (Gelredome, Arnhem) doesn't pack a lot of people.

It sucks cause I also mist Fleetwood Mac but weird enough they made a tv-commercial for UB40's show in Holland..

@purplehouse26 The reason y he doesn't want 2 get back together with them is because they were 1 of the few people not 2 be subservient 2 Prince, especially Wendy. They were very gifted & musically sophisticated, so they had stronger personalities than the types of people he regularly dealt with. They wanted 2 be on equal footing with Prince. Also, it doesn't help that the relationship was also very personal as during the time they were 2gether, Prince's main girlfriend was Wendy's twin sister.
