New york theatre people make a huge deal on phrasing. im going to school in a new york acting school called AMDA, and they make a whole fuss about putting an "H" in front of your wods like "AND" so when kerry sings "the wizard HAND i" it sounds awkward.

yeah, its for breath control. When you say an "H" vowel you lose breath. So just belting "AND" saves yoru breath. shes losing breath every time she says "HAND I" but she still stounds good none the less.
