First of all, you cannot lose sperm by touching shoe goo. That's fucking retarded. If you sit around and inhale it for three hours, maybe it'll fuck you up a little, but that's why you do this (and anything else involving harmful fumes) OUTSIDE. Secondly, I found show goo at walmart for only five bucks. Check the shoe section. Third, every board breaks, all wheels get flatspots, all bearings rust. Lastly, wet your hands before touching shoe goo, it won't stick and spreads smoother. I use spit.

you can also try shoe gooing or just gluing a section on bike inner tube onto the front of the shoe - it looks pretty ugly, but it works better than shoe goo and doesn't kill your soldiers.

Hmm. Pretty rough, but good on you. It's stupid to add repairable shoes to the landfill and waste money on new ones. I'm hoping to fix my own Ecco brand shoes this weekend. Had them for years, love them, uppers are fine. Repair would cost $100, which I'm not going to pay, nor 4300 for new ones not as good as these. Just need a resole. Thinking of finding/buying some used other shoes to take the soles from, to add on to my worn ones. PalmyBruce, 61 in New Zealand.

Normally when I buy new skate shoes I buy Es accel's, I take super glue and run it along all the seams on the shoe, then put a thick coat on around the pannels that rip the most, and the rubber that wears the most, then I repeat that process two or three times after teh super glue dries, then I take shoe goo and cover it in a thick layer, My shoes wont even start to wear above the soles, for about a month, when they start to wear I repeat the process.
