No, you can get the jack russel terrier book with any breed. The pirate hat does not give you any luck.. :/

I suggest the clover clock and lucky collar.

Also, the knit hat and the clover clock are pretty lucky too.I have the gold bar, promise ring, RC helicopter, and many other rare items by using those.

if u hear a fire truck siren, then go on a walk and highlight all the presents and usually u will get the fireman's hat. the jack russel book is just luck. i got them both with the pirate hat on my german sheperd. the lucky collar actually isn't that great. i just have the clover clock on. the pirate hat is probably the luckiest. i got the gold bar and diamond ring with it. hope this helps.

i know a cheat for it you have to get the lucky collar and lucky clock then you have to meet a dog named buster then you go to the top corner and there u go
