    Really helps me out !

  • Thanks for this....I was able to make add some really cool subtle particle and movement effects to a grunge background, along with some light ray effects. This really helped me get a more professional-quality look even upon my first time using AE, so thank you!

  • i dont have animation presets for fractal noise

  • @WwBaNaNaZwW Read the response earlier - or watch the Quick Tip video in my channel on how to enable them.

  • @shortformvideos Which quick tip video shows you how to enable the presets for fractal noise?

  • @M8018 /watch?v=fTrW3t-SHIY

  • i dont have the cc snow on my?

  • @luvmyPT92ss Read the response below this one.

  • I don't have CC in my effects?

  • @sanyika96 If you mean that you can't see the effects presets in CS5, you need to enable them (see the comments below or my latest video After Effects Quick Tip - Missing Animation Presets). But if you're not seeing any of the CC effects, then you're probably using the demo version, or an illegal copy. In which case, I can't help you.

  • @shortformvideos If you click on the panel drop down, you will see an option for "show animation preset" cs5 is set as default to not show. I had the same problem.

  • 05:46 : There's no Animation Preset in CS5 where I can hit "Curtons". >.< You know where I can find the Animation Preset in CS5 ? :(

  • @JtzMe If you don't have the presets that are part of a standard installation of After Effects then you must either have the demo version or an illegal copy. Either way, I can't help you. Sorry.

  • @shortformvideos Nah >.< I bought it. I think I'm gonna reinstall that. But thanks for your reply.

  • @shortformvideos @shortformvideos If you click on the panel drop down, you will see an option for "show animation preset" cs5 is set as default to not show. I had the same problem.

  • @JtzMe There's a drop down menu just right of the tab of Effect Controls: Light Rays and you have the option to Show Animation Presets

  • @JtzMe this was getting me too. If you haven't found out already, in CS5 animated presets are hidden by default. Click on the right hand box for effects you will see "show animation presets" that should do the trick. If not let me know or search around the Adobe Forums. You are not the only one :)

  • @thevincentclark Mhh. If I activate these presets there is the "animation Presets" with the "None" beside it. But if I click on that, there is only "Save Selection as Animation Preset". Mhh ._.

  • @JtzMe There's a drop down menu icon near the top-right of the Effect Controls panel that looks like a down arrow and a stack of horizontal lines. In this menu there is a 'Show Animation Presets' option.

  • @zebrafive ow. Okay. :D Thanks :D

  • Hey, Great Tutorials; It's really helpful so keep doing it.

Btw, Can you do a tutorial on Cinema 4d? or Avid Media Composer.

    Thanks :)

  • @lwj033 Glad you like them. Can't help with the C4D or Avid stuff, I'm afraid.

  • Great Tutorials, concise and succinct, with an English Accent for a change!

  • u should make it 3d or sumthin, its a bit basic (not hating)

  • @ExquiziteSTORM I'll make sure to put some explosions into my next one.
