Hey i just became an blood mage (lvl 7) but i dont understand what it does, or i didnt change anything. I was hoping that my spells were based on health instead but nothing happend, could someone tell me if i have something that activates blood magic or something, its weird! O.O thx in forehand

@ISternerI Blood mage has it own special spells and talents like any other specialization, you have to level up and pick some blood mage talent.

@c4show No, however you once it's unlocked just load a previous save and it will be unlocked. I did this to unlock the reaver specialization since I could not lose Wynne or Leliana.

Yes, once you unlock any class it will be there when you get to the right levels. You get your first specialization point at level 7 and again at level 14, also your party members will get one point at that level.

When you do the Arl of Redcliffe quest make sure your character(mage class) go to confront the desire demon inside the fade. Once you get the the final fight with her make a deal with her and she'll let you have the blood mage class.

to gewt the mages to redcliffe u hav to do the circle tower, when u kill sloth go to nial's body and pik up the litany of andralla, then when ur facing uldred the mages on the floor will start having white rings showing out of them, when this happens use the litany by going in advanced options when u brin up the radial menu, it stops him turrning them into abominations, as for the demon? when ur in the fade, say ull talk to it, intimidate and intimidate again and ull get what u want ndshe leaves

Blood Mage is unlocked by the Desire Demon during Arl of Redcliffe if the Warden is a mage, enters the Fade personally, and requests arcane secrets. Sorry there are no other way.

There is another way. You can do it in Denerim during the Elf Slaves quest. Google it and you will find.

who gives a shit if you screw him over. You wont be rewarded or penalized if you do. It might make the sequal better if bioware chooses to add the same "last game decisions carry over to next game" option that have in mass effect 2 where you can kill adult conner and for his loot

4 thins u need to get it without screwing over the kid, 1) master coercion, u can probly do it with expert but just be safe :)

2) strength rating - 14 - 16

3) main character to enter the fade (mage only)

4) when u speak to the demon say ull look at what she has to offer, intimidate and intimidate again, and choose ur option it agrees to leave forever in exchange for its life :)

If you have a high coercion (misspelled, yes) skill, you can intimidate the desire demon to leave forever, and before you let her go, you can intimidate again for her to give you one of those things (power, pleasure, that sort). Just thought I'd respond to an old comment XD

become a reaver in the quest for the urn of sacred ashes , when the cultist give you a quest to defy the urn you accept it and then you get reaver and the cultist becomes your ally (but make a save before speaking of then cuz if you do that i think something happens with eamon)
