  • This game inspired me to start drawing cars.My favorite car as a kid wass the Lamborgini Countach and in this game you get to chase some.At 2:39 you see one.

  • I, loved this game.

  • Yay, someone actually posted footage from an actual console and not an emulator.

  • Over 5,000 views and no comments? This game was a classic, one the first that I owned for my Master System. :-)

  • @fatsgt Looks like the new Youtube layout took me by surprise. I see a lot of comments after clicking the "view all comments" link. Do'h!

  • oh how i loved to play this game as a 9 year old child fuck ps3

    c64 rules

    i love the sound

  • one of my first games what made it even better was thatat the time my grandad has a porsche 928

  • ahahah the memories, got all my car skillz from this game

  • I think the ZX Spectrum version seems far more advanced than the Master System version.

There was another game that seemed that way to me too called Impossible Mission.

I'm not sure if most people agree?!?

    Good video, though.

  • I don't believe I ever tried the ZX Spectrum version of Impossible Mission in earnest. I've completed the C64 version (footage on YouTube in this account). I recently tried the SMS version & found it more difficult - it is still sat next to my SMS to be attempted once again. ;)

  • Technically "Taito Chase H.Q." and "Chase H.Q." are two seperate games, the MS version is a port of the NES version. Whereas the Speccy one is a port of the arcade game.

But the spectrum version minus the colours is nigh-on a perfect arcade port. It won greatest spectrum game of all time in the last issue of Your Sinclair magazine.

  • @ScrewAttackEurope Good memory! Ocean were so confident of the Speccy version that they prepared a hat, covered with chocolate éclairs for the editor of C&VG to eat after he'd stated he would eat his hat if anyone could top the speed of Power Drift. :)

  • @ScrewAttackEurope

Sega had a habit of re-coding arcade games from the ground up. This is technically a remake of the arcade game designed to cope with and push the limitations of the master system and later the Game Gear. The Speed effect is awesome in this version to compensate for the graphical limits.

  • I bought this game for master system on ebay last week after not playing it for about 15 years. Great effort but I think I can beat ur score =) . Ill try and keep u posted

  • Don't be surprised if you do: this was only my second game. ;)

  • I have this on Game Gear, and it plays like this one (including the whole "Tune-up" concept)

  • Dare are tintirentás, ares, el asesino magnac, aurio... YOGUEY!

  • this was my first ever game :)

  • Same here, I was only 6. :)
