i'm pretty sure you don't know much about anything... and lasgo is definitely not english, and i'm sure that many of the singers you think are some other nationality are actually.. belgian. in w-europe belgium's music scene is well respected, but you only listen to ultra commercial stuff (only american music, in your words) so that doesn't give your opinion a lot of gravitas :) belgian music tends to be original, edgy and off-beat, and has very little banal popmusic that you listen to.

Wow man, that's quite a statement... You might want to check my account, much of the music on there is well-known across Western-Europe. You know, the civilised part ;) Although I'm sure that even you are aware of some of our more commercial/mainstream music, like for example the old Technotronic, or 2 Unlimited (singers were Dutch, but the producers, the people that actually made the music, were Belgian), or the more recent Milk Inc, Lasgo, Sylver, Kate Ryan, Ian Van Dahl, Milow and others.

The point I'm finally about to make is that for some reason so many Greeks get nationalistic over her, completely ignoring the fact that while her dad was a Belgian-born Greek, her mother is Belgian, and that Katerine not only has Belgian nationality, but was also born and raised there, same as so many other Belgians with partly foreign roots. And then you constantly cry about the fact that she's GREEKKK! Partly, sure.

Katerine did enter the Belgian pre-selections in 2006, but as BM said, we don't choose the good stuff so she never had a chance :p

Anyway, I have nothing against Greeks but a lot of you have a huge attitude problem, that much is obvious.

Also, the singers you mentioned are only popular in your own country and the countries surrounding it, and while Nana Mouscouri was popular in large parts of Europe, that was decades ago.
