Listen let's just all agree that both the SNES and the Genesis were awesome consoles. I mean they had so many awesome titles, The Donkey Kong Country series, Yoshi's Island, Super Mario RPG, Kirby Super Star, and as for the Genesis The Sonic the Hedgehog series (no one can say that Sonic 3 & Knuckles wasn't one of the best 2D platformers there was) Ristar, Gunstar Heroes, Toejam and Earl, the Streets of Rage trilogy. And I think we can all *2bcont.*

@Letroen2 The first is a remix of Rob Hubbards' "International Karate" for the Commodore 64. The second song is a remix of Martin Galway's "Comic Bakery" for the C64. The third one is a remix of Anthony Lees' "Last Ninja" for the C64. All three are on the album "Instant Remedy" by High Technology Publishing. Another similar album I'd recommend is "Galway Remixed" by Reyn Ouwehand (Prevue Productions).

I seem to remember you could run at serious speed in that game too, which I remember thinking was pretty cool.

It's easy to miss games when making videos with so many of them though... there are several I'd like to replace if I was to remake the video.

Emulators are fantastic, it's really the only way to preserve all these classic games beyond the lifespan of the consoles they were released for (unless games that are re-released for modern consoles and such, but the problem will only be delayed by that).

I agree playing on the real thing is cooler, and that sound emulation is often far from perfect in emulation (though it varies a lot), but it's still a damn amazing thing IMO.

It really is a good game! Did you try out Turtles in Time Reshelled for the PS3 (downloadable game)?

It's a pretty good remake of the game, in 3d but still preserving the original gameplay.

I still prefer the original, but I found that remake quite good stilll.
