I know the Nissan Premium Dealership in Wangara hosts race days up at Barbagallo in Western Australia. Normally 15-20 GTR's show up.

Gosh I could just save up every penny I ever earned for one of these and be happy. One of the most inexpensive super car. When I saw the price tag I was blown away seeing a car amazing as that under 100 grand. Can't get much better. Do you like the Skyline or the GT-R better? Also, for a V6 only pushing under 500 hp to be that quick, I just want to touch one.

It all depends on where you are from. In the US, no one knows the difference between a Skyline, and a Skyline GT-R. Nissan seperated the R35 out, so that it was not associated too much with the Skyline "G35/G37".

Technically, Nissan doesn't call them a Skyline anymore, just GT-R. Skyline came in many varieties in the older cars. GT-R was always the top car, and the R35 GT-R is the top car.

The Top Gear episode isn't the end all and be all of car info. Many times they say outright bullshit. Sorry, try harder than that. Try looking at the history of the "V" series Nissan engines, which go back before Renault owned Nissan. The first Z had the VG engine. Then came other "V" variants, which into the Maximas of the 90's.... Not difficult to find at all.

And who cares if the the GTR was rated 8th? For a 75k car that has 480hp, that's amazing.

If I type 911/GTR, the GTR is beating it.

What I meant is that for 75k and 480hp, being 8th place amongst supercars costing up to 10 times more and 600hp more, it isn't something bad. I never said i don't acknowledge it.

According to the unofficial time of the Veyron, the GTR beats the it by 11 seconds at the ring, that's why I said the Veyron isn't all that great. Maybe it never did 7:40, but if it did, then the GTR is a faster track car.

personally i don't like da veyron at all it just has brute power no passion.theres a clip where the veyron flies past a mclaren with over 800hp with ease. IMO the GTr will def be faster on corners cause its lighter and with all that jap gizzmo inisde but on da corner exit the GTr will def get raped and i wont even mention wut will happen on the straight. GTR is an awesome bang 4 ur buck supercar no doubt about that but. it was made to rival 911 turbo not a 1001 veyron. which is y da GTR shines

12 R35 GT-Rs. Its the title of the video. There was no official transponders. Just lap times off guys Traqmates, and the like. A few hand timed. Amongst the guys, Neo was quickest with a 1:57.7 , James from Axis was 2nd with a 1:58. A couple of the other cars were around 2:00. JIC car , Z-Car Garage Car, and Budez Car. There is more information on my 2009gtr blog.
