@verliebtinberlinQc.....not singing can not get a blessing and singing can't stop god to bless somebody and not all muslim's believe music is bad,most believe in goodness of good music ( such as classical or instrumental)

@seenataghavi ... you know, when someone says something like "may Allah guide us", a good thing to say is "ameen". And i do not think that music is "evil". But Hussein al Jasmi has such a beautiful voice, that it makes me realize that he should spend more time reading the Qur'an. That's it.

Excuse me if he is a singer that doesn't mean he can't recite Quran.This is not the teachings of the holy Prophet,people like you want that the people who are a little bit far from the teachings of Allah swt or are in small sins should never come back to the straight path.This is not fair every muslim has a right to come back and has more right to recite Quran Al Karim thanks.

anyone has the right to read the Quran ...

i'm a sinner (astaghfurulla) ... but i read the Quran ... Quran isn't just for pure people .. no one is pure!!! Quran is always the thing that u get back when u want guiding or refugee.

and if u loved the Quran, u will fall silently listening to it no matter from where the source is. And he's doing a good job. i don't care if he sings i don't even listen to his music, but when i found this vid i had to listen ...

do u know that the musical scales (maqam) came from the andulisian mowashahat and from the Quran reciting?

u know that they different Maqams for reciting?

do u know that in a research of the history of classical music, they found that europian classical music came from andulisian mowashahat that were inspired from the Quran's reciting?
