I saw Leon Redbone, live, at a small venue (less than 100 seats), in Savannah, Ga. back in the early 80's. It was just him and a tuba player. Very, very entertaining. He's got a terrific, dry wit and his song selections, and deliveries, were spot on. Unless you're someone who has musical blinders on, you should see him in concert, if you ever get the chance.

Musicians like Redbone, Leo Kottke and another favorite of mine, John Hammond, Jr. are performers who would be worth your while to see.
