4:41: The digital readout on the left (next to the list of Hell's clients and their time remaining) says: "REMEMBER TUESDAY IS SADDAM HUSSEIN APPRECIATION DAY". Interesting little political dig, though perhaps unsurprising since the movie came out in 1992.
You know, there should have been a tv series of the cartoon segment of stay tuned. If it got good ratings, it probably would have been a great success, who knows, even I would have seen it if shown in the uk!
@condenetwork i saw this movie on vhs with my dad back in 1993 when i was nine i laughed at the cartoon sequence until it was over, now i found it one of the funniest movies i have ever seen as a adult when i was nine i didn't get the commericals and tv show parodies until now i recently saw this movie on vhs back in november of 09!
TRUE. He was the voice of Clifford the Big Red Dog, but I think this clip actually helps him capture the kind of stuff he was known for when he was younger...the zany, high-energy, slapstick , pratfall-type of stuff. Hell, it's almost like seeing an ANIMATED version of "Jack Tripper." Even though THREE'S COMPANY was an "adult show", I watched it as a kid because "Jack" has cartoonishly hilarious.
Yes I agree with you. Part of the charm of "Jack Tripper" was his slap-stick type comedy...and the other part of the charm was in the fact that John Ritter was absolutely gorgeous! :)
This movie is AWESOME!!!! It was actually on one of the "Starz" channels the other day... I've been lookin' all over for the "Dwayne's Underworld" clip... "EXTREME CLOSE-UP DUDE!!!!!! ONE MORE TIME!!!!!!!" LoL
I love this movie and if I could find a proper DVD ripper, I would post more. The Mr. Spike scenes are especially awesome (The jumbotron scoreboard and the spinning remote!).
I remember the part when mouse Ron had the doughnut in his mouth heheh. Wow, good upload.I hope to find this movie....somewhere...probably at a random truck stop or ebay...but it would be cooler to find it somewhere random.
I haven't seen this movie in over a decade. I thought it was a family adventure, but it's actually not for kids I don't think. Still, I loved it. RIP John Ritter
Local rental shops and places that sell DVDs are your obvious bets.
If all else fails, you could try an online DVD rental service. Since you live in America, you could try Netflix (they have Stay Tuned in stock according to their website). Since it has a free trial, you could even sign up, rent, return and cancel all without having to pay anything. Though I warn you, I intended to do that with a similar service and I ended up continually using it.
@ManofGod04, in case you haven't already found them, there are two people who have already got the movie up: Mike's Variety or Morkandmindy333. Hope this helps.
LOL! definitely an all-time favorite. I saw this in thearters back in '92. I was 9 at the time, just turned 9 around the same time so a cool birthday present. LOL This movie is so wacky, Duane's Underworld, The music video with Salt n pepa, all of it! I remember dancing to the music video in the thearters in my seat, lol how could u not it was a pretty sick beat! r.i.p. John Ritter
I'd like to see when Roy Knable (John Ritter) changes the channel and fall in a parody of Three's Company where two look alikes of "Chrissy" and "Janet" aks him "Where have you been?" and inmediatly changes channel.
I wish there was more of this movie. For instance, the part where John Ritter and Jeffrey Jones duel it out in a "Prince-ish" world. Wigs and all. I love it.
The world needs another Chuck Jones, damn it.

Good vid. Can u put the whole movie on here?
ManofGod04 3 years ago
No.
Firstly, I don't have the whole movie.
Secondly, my account only allows videos of up to 10 mins (and I don't want to cut up a film into multiple 10min segments).
Thirdly, I'm already pressing copyright concerns as it is. Putting up the whole movie would be pushing it.
If you really want to, there are many ways of finding and watching the entire movie. Some of them are even legal.
TheSofox 3 years ago
Can u let me know a few that are legal?

"For a mouse, you look pretty sexy."
"Too bad you didn't like the way I looked when I was human."

It's a very well known fact though that cartoon woman (animals or human) are always exaggerated to look more attractive. Even today they are.
