That would be incorrect. Christian punk bands do not idolize (worship) secular bands, they admire and respect them.

we were called Few Less Forsaken. we broke up in 2005 but other band members went on to form a band called Dark Lay Still and Blow Me Down.

we headlined a show with these guys way back in the day! they kept calling every song lakeside lol. good times. I thought we were the beez knees when we played with them.

This is my first time hearing this band. Pretty good. I've stopped listening to most punk bands just because of lyrical content, so maybe this will change that.
