Great job. How about using a software synth that allows to tweak the time/amount of glide/portamento (of course that would sound good only in monophonic mode) so you you can sound even more like Tony's studio version(staring around 1:27 in your video). Just an idea.
Thanks for the feedback. I do have a second patch with the smoother and longer glide, but I don't have the equipment quickly activate patch changes unfortunately.
I can see why you'd think that as the video synch is pretty terrible, and the sound quality isn't great. But you can hear a fair amount of flubs and bum notes (especially during the second high arpeggio run around D).
Thanks. The transcription was a bit of a slow process listening to sections repeatedly on loop slowed down by a 100% or more.
Frustratingly the drums which are mixed quite loud throughout the whole album would block out key notes.
I know for a fact some sections are quite wrong in the notes they play, but I would have got bored and have stopped trying if I agonised over it for too long.
that run at 3:30 is one of the most beautiful passages ever. I always thought that would have been a two fisted run. you freaked me out when I saw you doing it with one hand. You should reupload because you can probably REALLY play the shit out of it now. Nonetheless i enjoyed hearing this again. Thanks for posting dude.
Yeah, I'd love to be able to get the left hand working but I don't have the room to set up a second keyboard, and this USB Midi one doesn't support keyboard zoning or splitting sadly.
The sound for Dukes Travels is something I've struggled with. Tony never seemed to replicate the album sound live, but I can't seem to get close to either studio or live patches. This is basically a default patch in Arturia Analog Factory with some very minor modifications.

Dunno what you're worried about. It sounds pretty damn good to me.

Thanks. It's mainly the balls up on the second arepggio run around D which bugs me on this.

you should be sorry for being a deaf dumbass who can't tell a clam from his ass.
Clams and everything this was really cool to listen to. Nice job on the transcription.

The right hand is ok, but what about your left hand?
And your sound didn't like me at all.
I'm sorry but it is quite regular.
