@themeleed Exactly. I was working with a young beginner student when I first saw this. I asked my dad who's a dentist/oral surgeon if I could do this in his office. He said he can't, it's usually hospital only, and it would cost too much, especially because he's not technically on staff there ;-( oh well, this is still better than nothing!!
This is an educational tool all right. What would someone playing properly look like? This guy / girl is ALL messed up! Tongue motion should be far more consistent, but this shows us what NOT to do.
@razeontherock -- Are you judging by what you see, or by what you hear? Aside from a couple of clams on high C's, I think he sounded great! Excellent control, even sound in all registers, good clean tonguing and double tonguing... There's a problem? If it ain't broke...
@sktyler1 BOTH! The recording quality is too muffled to be able to really hear the sound, but those clams would be prevented by getting the tongue the heck outta da way. I used to have that same problem and MAN does it fix high register articulation!

@jnurin Yeah, when I first started playing trumpet for a year or so I had that problem. It's a tough habit to break too.

Too bad this guy has so many fillings ! It blocks the view and makes this

Tongue should be much more forward, otherwise she/he is choking off air back in the throat. Her arch is waaaaay too far back.
