Nice setup. I ordered Crosshair III few days ago, some may say its stupid since IV is out, but i snatched one on ebay for 100$ lol. Anyway just wanted to ask you if your Phenom II 955 is c2 or c3 stepping? And if its C3 did you have to flash the BIOS ? Thanks.

Used FurMark to put the card under load.

There is no way you could get a card to idle at 10c unless you put it under liquid nitrogen, or phase-change.

Could never get it to line up with the mobo inputs, so I just left it off. You don't need it.

Not bed, myself I would have gone for at least a PII 720BE instead of the 550 (or is it 555 now?) Anyhow, it's not bad at all and when you get sick of dual cores you can pop in a 965 (aren't they releasing a 975 soon? I think your board may handle the 6-cores coming out this year). Overall, nice AMD build.

hello this is a nice pc ...i have allmost the same configuration(cpu,motherboard,­video card)...have you tried to unclock your cpu to 4 cores? sorry for my bad english...:))

Thanks. Yeah Ive tried to unlock it, with no success. I get the 4 cores unlocked screen in post but I get BSOD when windows tries to boot. I haven't messed with any voltages yet so I might be able to get it stable.
