I love the music of the fifties and early sixties. When I hear them I take a ride to those times and I feel very fine. I know there is something good in music today, but, those times were classic and artists were very special. I wouldn't know about the music of Tracy Pendarvis. I'm going to know more about him now. Thank you, doowoper51 for sharing your good musical taste.
@XxGrandHustle06xX Sad isn't it, everyone else is? Never ask me whats wrong with the world, don't get me started, LOL. If you notice, I stay lost in the 50s, early 60s and I don't believe i'm alone.
@TheDoc1957 Honestly, I've been collecting since 1962 & I'm still finding songs I never heard before, I don't think there is any end in sight. This song for one should have been a #1 hit, I never heard it until I found the record in 2000. It was probably that word I have a strong hatred for "PAYOLA"
I think this was recorded in the 1970's label is telling me. Reminds me of the unknown group records i have.Lots of fun to listen to all the bells and whistles to a great doo wop song.
Though Tracy Pendarvis was born and raised 26 miles away (literally), I had never heard this particular recording before. And that would be my loss; because it may be his best. Thank you.
Shades of Sonny James, Ral Donner, Jack Scott, Terry Stafford, Johnny Burnette, even Elvis with a touch of The Diamonds at :50. Any singer who reminds me of so many great singers is definitely worth a Five Star Rating!!!
Never, ever, never, ever heard this song---until now. Some songs may sound different, but it's still Doo-Wop, the greatest sounding music to one's ear. (sounds a little like Roy Orbison)
hahahahahahaha =)=)=)=)=) well you're right .. you loved it first jajaja :D... and yeahh so gorgeous.. I can't stop hearing it . Just a thing.... the vynils says ''Tracy Pendarvis'' not ''pendarvas'' OMG! jaja what happened =)???? !!
