Fantasy Batreps are far more entertaining than 40k ones. I say this as a 40k player. Fantasy has more variety and things going on that make for a good video to watch. 40k you generally know if you're going to win or not when your opponent shows what he's fielding.

Hey Shaun, what happened to the Hordes armies you guys had as part of your 'Hordes Journey' series? Remember when you roped Renn, Brigg and Dane(?) into getting Trollbloods, Orboros and Legion respectively (and you got stuck with Skorne?

I was waiting for some batreps for that, but Hordes kinda fell off the radar after that :( Maybe you could revive those armies. I especially wanted to see Briggs 'Solid Stone' army in the field.

I definitely agree that you guys have the best bat reps around. They're very entertaining yet you guys still take time to explain some lesser known things and rules. My friends and I have actually adopted saying "They love it" whenever we pass leadership tests and morale checks now haha.

@GuerrillaFighter12 The lion-rider conversions are quite custom. Most are unique poses though there are only two lions in the chariot kit. I think we had to order like fifteen Chariots to make these conversions.

@84ndman I prefer Warhammer Fantasy as well. However, 40K is the dominant game here in the states. That said, I did decide over the weekend to still do some Warhammer Fantasy.

@redgreen09 They are a conversion. I think he uses them to act as Dragon Princes. As long as it looks cool and fits the theme and its clear what its supposed to be then why not.

in the last battle report, with the woodelves vs skaven, shawn didnt take hit ward saves against the PWM Cause it was a magical weapon?, so if a plague claw catapult fires at the phoenixguard do they get their ward save?

The Wood Elves have a special rule for their forest spirits' ward saves. This is like how Daemons of Chaos used to be, magical attacks negate the Ward save. As far as I know all new army books have the new Ward saves and Phoenix Guard def have an all purpose Ward.

I dont mind there being mistakes in the games. Me and my friends started playing 40k again and last battle we completely forgot about deep strike mishaps and moral and several other things. Of course we just had a laugh about it after.
