Just looking at the GoPro HD camera page. Very cool. My attempt to film my system on a small digital was really bad. But will try again after now I have a 1080 camera...although it won't record much on a 16GB card will it. lol

I see you're using TrackIR. Looks useful with the mirrors over in your side monitors. I haven't played with iRacing FOV so my mirrors sit right in the bevel position. lol...i'll get around to it eventually.

You can get about 48 minutes on a 16GB card in 1080p.

I'm actually not using TrackiR. It is just the effect of me wearing the GoPro on my head. :)

This does give you a good representation of what TrackiR is like, except the whole screen would be moving.

I highly suggest using the iRacing FOV calculator to get a real FOV. It changes everything about the sim. It will look like you lose a lot of side view, but it is worth it, imo.

The GT3RS is a good wheel, I just didn't like there version of FFB. It felt sluggish, but I'm sure it has improved since I last tried the wheel, which was over 2 years ago.

The G27 is a lot more crisp and feels well built. I also like the fact that you can change wheels with the G27.

The new CSW wheel from Fanatec looks amazing though. I doubt I will pick it up because I think buying some CST pedals would be a better decision for that kind of money.

Had to look at fanatec video, besides the big ass F1 fanatec logo on their wheel also has color full buttons, so chad wheel rim is custom, good job, just don't know how your able to get the rpm display to work, making me change my mind about the clubsport wheel their price is heavy $500 for base and $300 A wheel rim

The actual wheel rim he is using unless its all custom if it is his g27 how is he gettin the rpm light to work on his wheel rim, it looks like the fanatec F1 and it's it's custom damn good job looks great

It is a custom wheel from simracnwheels(dot)com. It is the Williams F1 replica. The SLI-m is the RPM and gear indicator, it is sold separately, I think.

Well I have been sim racing for over 3 years now. I just slowly built my cockpit over that period.

As far as cost goes, I really don't know. But if you all ready have a computer, the cost doesn't increase that much. It gets expensive when you start buying top of the line wheels, pedals, and motion platforms.

I don't think he did it on purpose. I'm he just lost it when he got back on the power. It is really easy to do in these cars. You really have to ease on the gas.
