  • Corrección: "Do time" = "cumplir una condena" y sería: "cumplí mi condena, corrí riesgos"; "went the distance / now I'm back on my feet" quiere decir "resistí hasta el final (alude a aguantar los 15 rounds de una pelea de boxeo, la frase se usa en sentido figurado, no tiene nada que ver con distancia) ahora estoy recuperado o estoy de nuevo en pie" como pones también vale.
