  • I am 6'3" and 150 lbs, ( I am most likely going to gain weight) was a flexible ski/ what length should I get? I am also looking for something that is light for easier switch ups and spins.

  • I have a question for your sir,

How do you know what the perfect length twin tips is for you??

I'm thinking about buying a pair but I want them to be perfect for me.

    Thank you!

  • Thanks, this really helped!!!

  • Im 12, from PA started skiing a few years ago and im okay, i can do parallel but not with great technique. when i stop growing, my parents said i could buy a pair (i usually rent for the season from a local ski shop) when i stop growing.I wanted to start learning how to do tricks and rails, but i still love those diamonds. Any skis recommended?

  • my skis are 50% all mountain and 50% groomed but 0% powder? What does that mean? And what would happen if I decide to use those skis on powder

  • Did he say fuck that ski at 0:47 ?

  • can you rent twin tips ?

  • @Arsenal11dubstep You should be able to rent twins at most mid to upper end rental shops.

  • I was looking at the K2 Revival ski and being a big heavy skier 275 lbs and 6'3" looking to do some park and groomed skiing so i was wondering what your thoughts about this ski or these kind of skis

  • @qwopforlife The Revival would be a good ski for this. With the jib rocker shape it is more of a "freestyle" ski but the sidecut profile makes it a solid carver as well. At your size make sure you size up especially with twin tips, 180cm+ on any twin tip.

  • IF YOU WANT TWINTIPS GET SALOMON SUSPECTS!!

  • I'm looking to get some twip tips and ideally I want to be able to ride park and some rails I won't be pipe like at all, but I do go ski pow some days kind of looking for an all rounder I suppose, but don't want to be spending ridiculous amounts. Any advice/ski's you would recommend?? would be very grateful :)

  • I'm an intermediate skiier, I want an overall ski that I can do a lot with, maybe go to the terrain park, or whatever. I don't ski on powder at all, is there any specific skiis that I should be looking for?

  • @1994dude4444 You have a whole lot of options that fit into that category. What you are going to want is something that will be directional and mid wide (85-90mm or so underfoot). The Armada El Rey, Atomic Panic, and Line Prophet Flite would all be really good choice here. The Panic and Flite are more true all mountain skis that are twin tips where the El Rey is more of a freestyle/park twin that skis very well all mountain.

  • This is useless without a list of which ski is which!

  • Heliskiing FTW

  • How good are Salomon Suspects on Park and Pipe? Thats what im buying for this season. Also if they are a 86 waist, and I get wide brake bindings that are 90mm is that the right size?

  • PLZ MAKE REVIEW OF SALOMON KNIGHT

  • 1:24 lol i would laugh if he broke the ski

  • @Whydyoudoit567 The Panic is an all mountain twin and offers great control for various conditions. The adaptive rocker in the panic offers a slight amount of rocker in the tips of the skis; this will allow for forgiving turn initiation and a ski that will not catch. It's not the stiffest twin so if you're a heavier guy or teetering on the level of expert you may want to find a stiffer model.

  • what's the ski he has at 02:02 ????

  • armada atw

  • hi, what are the ''all mountain skis" you showed called?

  • @iridetigers The all mountain ski was the '09 volkl bridge. The 2011 bridge has a rocker design to give more float in the powder, but the 09/10 bridge have a more traditional camber. I'm not sure how they would compare on hard pack

  • is there a noticeable difference in just regular skiing when using twin tips compared to a normal style ski?

  • what is the name of the armada skis @4.20?

  • @xxlillemann yeah dude if you find out let me know

  • @MatthewSwanston sure:P

  • @MatthewSwanston the name is armada el ray :P

  • @xxlillemann 2009´s model

  • All-mnt are for me

  • Hello i wanna learn tricks and stuff with twin tips and i wonder what size of skis i need, am about 160 :)

  • @tjorva13 between 150-160

  • JIB ROCKER ALL THE WAYY!!

  • I just got some k2 press's. im pretty stoked for the season!

  • what model is the k2 skis in 4:59 ?

  • I want those Anthems...

  • just got a pair os nordica ace of spades HIFFFY

  • I got a pair of 2010 Line EP Pros.... Sooooo fat!

  • highly recommend any head monster for an all mountain twin tip. Love my im78's with RF11 binding combination

  • Very informative video! Glad I watched it!

  • i need help ppl idk what to get or what size. im 6' 2" im a huge terrain park guy. but i cannot spend alot and need bindings included. pls what ski and size should i get

  • @ic3man5010327 at 6'2" you should probably get 177, but it matters because 170's could also fit you. It just depends on the length that you like. Maybe try demoing the different sizes?

  • im switching from snowboarding to skiing...yet again

  • is the K2 Seth good skis?

  • k2 disorderly are good but not fast on pouder snow and they are a bit heavy

  • @Zackoman123

i got k2 disorderly 2 as one of my 5 pairs.

I think theyre rlly good, they're best at grinding after my use :P Hope you liked em. Rlly good skiis

  • i want some twin tip skis for the park that are cheap what should i get

  • @SuperTamauro Since the season is over now, you can get some really good skis for really cheap. If your looking for park, you should check out anything from line. The masterminds are really affordable, but I have the Afterbangs and I LOVE them!

  • im looking for some twin tip cheap park skis can any one help?

  • what do u think about the K2 kung fujas

  • Supposed to be some very nice all mountain i believe, I realy want a couple of Line chronic cryptonite, you should check them out.

  • just bought k2 disorderly skies, im exited to try em out:P

  • Do you know if the Volkl Gotama Jr. are light, im looking at em and they look sick!!! i just want to know if theyd be light in a 138(so i can finalize my descision) i grind and do tricks and everything, so please (if you know) get back to me:) thanx

    DBink17

  • everyone i know with gotamas loves em, i dont think theyd be unreasonably heavy

  • Ok, I snowboard park now but now I want to ski park. I've never skied before. Could I learn on park/pipe twin tips?

  • Really much sexism in this vid like I see as much girls as boys in the slope still he like showed almost non (girl) skiis :I

  • Although there are as many girls who do ski, they are a lot less present in the park area. I know this because I ski around 60 times a year, constantly in park.

  • Armada t-halls, best freestyle ski in the world

  • K2 silencers are INSANE

  • volkl bridge FTW

  • K2 is a great pair if ski!

  • just got some k2 apache stryker... i love em

  • is the volkl gotama a good park ski?

  • It's more of a backcountry powder ski.

Im pretty sure they are a lot longer than your usual park skis.

The Rossignol Scratch Brigade is a good park ski.

  • if im 180 cm high, how long should my ski be?

  • beginner - 165 to 170

    intermediate - 170 to 175

    advanced - 175 +

if you are very heavy you may want a slightly longer ski, and if your light you may want to go shorter.

  • hey good answer there maybe you can give me one... i weight 210 and im lookin for a ski thatl be strong enough for me to butter nosepress ect.. lookin for a park ski since ive got some old bandit pow skis and a rossi groomer ski

  • @H4mst3rM4n

Hey, I see you know what you are talking about.

If I'm 178 tall, and pretty skinny ( = 64kg~ 142 punds), and medium skiing skill, do you think the 158 long twin tips i just bought are too short?

They reach up to about 1cm above my chin.

  • they're probably a touch short, but that wont be a problem unless you go at high speed (they will be a bit unstable) or ski through deep powder (they may sink).

next time you should go for a 164-171, unless you get a lot better by that stage, in which case you will want to go a bit longer.

the legnth wont be a problem unless you take them to the limit. last season i was on a pair of 146s and I'm 168 cm tall. they were fine until i went too fast.

  • im 13 and i new a pair of all mt. twin tip. i need a 150 to maybe a 155 and i cant find any good nice skis anyone that knows of some tell me please

  • Volkl Gotama JR

  • hey thanks i have seen those before and i like then but the largest size they make them in is a 148 and i need a least a 150

  • @slackerfish19 you could also try the line masterminds.

  • i just bought salomon suspects and they look soo cool. i cant wait until it snows -_-

  • should've put it some ar6's...

anyone that has skiied armada knows what im talking about

  • volkl and k2 is the best skiis ;P

  • 8:00 my bindings, ;marker 12

  • @number1asswipe same

  • do i have to buy different bindings when i buy twintip skis, or my old ones will be perfect if they are wide enaugh?
