SEGA need to take a break from Sonic for awhile (They squeezed enough games out of him) and start making new games to the original SEGA games that made Dreamcast the shit, like Jet radio, or Shenmue, Crazy Taxi, A better nights and samba de amigo game, and Channle 5, Nintendo don't just keep making Mario games, they still hold on to Zelda, Kirby, Pokemon, and Donkey Kong by making new games to them once in awhile, and Nintendo bringing back Kid Icruas

(i own both by the way and sonic 4 ep.1 is good and sonic generations is the new number 1 sonic game.)

Overall I think that the DC is a more characterful game (with that dishevelled police chief) and the DC's graphics are more crisp , bright and vibrant. But the Xbox game is the much more easy going package to enjoy- you can relax playing it in a way that you don't always have the luxury of doing in the (time limited and police chased) DC game.

If you want a difficult challenge, then the DC has police chasing you in game (but that's annoying).The Xbox game is a bit more of a platform game because there are telephone lines you can grind at high speed.The DC's cel shading is sometimes arguably 'purer' in a cartoony way,Xbox's more heavy handed in its shading (or maybe it just feels like that on the Xbox). The Xbox has the edge on music and special effects and larger areas (yet it sometimes doesn't use parts from the DC game). Try both.

Although this game looks good and I never played it, I really prefer Jet Set Radio Future from 2002 for Xbox and I just wanna say that games like this or JSRF are the real great games, they were long, really entretaining and fun, you could keep playing them for months. Now it is only a battle of what game has the best graphics or multiplayer. These games didn't need multiplayer to entretain you. I think that games like this are way much better than most of the games from 360 and PS3.
