This is NOT misleading. It's only 2 years ago and it's Neil PUSHING offshore drilling. What are you saying Hannemann had some computer generated graphics guys fake it? If you want a real explanation look up Neil's oil PAC contributions that years...went up 400%!

anyone who says that offshore drilling will not help and is a bunch of b.s. are repeating by rote, the liberal agenda. Because if you studied the issue and actually understood it, then you would realize that it has to be a combination of all kinds of energy and you cannot just eliminate one because some tree hugger told you to. What is disturbing is that clueless people can effect an outcome and the rest of us will pay for it. Have fun with $15/gallon gasoline clueless ones.

We need more offshore drilling, more conservation, more nuclear energy and to regulate the energy speculators driving up the price of oil. It makes sense to develop alternatives like wind, solar and biofuels. A balanced approach is needed. We can't allow any special interest group (the oil companies or the hard-line environmentalists) to dominate our energy policies. America must become energy independent. Otherwise, we face a very bleak future.
