I guess this is a technical demonstration to prove the robot can handle soft and sticky objects/liquid precisely. Of course, making snacks with the robot is, economically speaking, completely useless. However, this technology can be applied to medical equipments.

Using robotic arms to perform surgical operations is not new, but has already been done in hospitals which is coupled with cameras. There is no point to prove it again.

ロボットの腕に印刷されている名前から判断するに、これは安川電­機の多関節ロボットですね。

粘り気のある液体を、きっちり正確に注入するとか、やわらかいた­こ焼きをつぶれないように運ぶなどは、ロボットにさせる仕事のな­かでも難しい部類で、これは「うちのロボットなら、特注品ではな­く既製品でもこの種の作業をできますよ」というデモンストレーシ­ョンだと思います。

それにしても、この動作、きちんと最後まで到達するようにロボッ­トに教え込ませるまでに、どれくらい試行錯誤したんでしょうか・­・・

しかもよく考えたら焼いてるのはホットプレートだし
