Im so glad these movies were made in my generation. I still get goosebumps from watching the trailes, and the Ride of the Rohirm scene.. well enough said!
Stunning movies, timeless, epic and up there with some of the best movies ever made! and if anyones interested check out my youtube channel for music inspired by Tolkien. Elen sila lumenn omentilmo
i dont know how there are some people that still didnt watch this movies, they're are simply beautiful. A true masterpiece. i love them. since the first second of FOTR till the las letter of the credits at the ROTK end.
These are the best movies ever made in my opinion, and Return Of The King belongs at the top of the list of all time movies, not that Avatar thing....sorry, but I do not think anything of James Cameron's belongs there....however much money that thing and his Titanic made.
At least these 3 had a powerful emotional story attached and terrific acting along with the amazing effects.
well, to each his own when it comes to taste I suppose, but imho Titanic and Avatar can never hold a candle to this trilogy. We shall never understand the business of movies and the big bucks behind them.... but I shall always say that ROTK belongs on that all time great list at the very top. At least the Academy Awards got it right and gave it what it so greatly deserved.
At 6:07, I keep expecting a booming announcer voice:
"Bernard Hill. Miranda Otto. Karl Urban. David Wenham. John Noble. Sean Bean. Ian Holm. Brad Dourif. Christopher Lee. Hugo Weaving. Cate Blanchett. Dominic Monaghan. Billy Boyd. John Rhys-Davies. Orlando Bloom. Liv Tyler. Viggo Mortensen. Ian McKellan. Andy Serkis. Sean Astin. And Elijah Wood." Just the way it's presented...
I love worlds of higher phantasy and wisdom. I wish, we would have in a far future one day a council of higher wisdom and no longer political parties. However, dreams are immortal.... :):):)
I had to sign in just tot hank the uploader of this beautiful....amazing....unrivalling....just thank you.
i have rewatched thios over and over. i love this supertrailer, it shows why, in my opinion, the triology is the greatest film ever made.
i know its three films, but if you judge them all as one.
i havent seen the godfather yet but i rke want to, would you say it is better than this? whenever i watch this trailer i am reminder of how amazing the triogy was, it was perfect, 5 stars!
The music at 5:00 is music written specially for this trailer. I'm not completely sure if it was composed by H. Shore or by the people responsible for the remix of the Gondor Theme and Epicalypse (heard just after this music in the ROTK Trailer #1)
some of these scene are not in the movies and some of them are different in the movies (for example: dialogue between aragorn and gandalf at 5:20, in the extanded movie is completely different).
What I would love to see is the other ending they shot - the fight between Sauron and Aragorn... that would be awesome, but yea they put the stupid troll instead... and also to see Arwen fight in Helm's Deep would be kinda fun :)

@amc17bears Finally someone who agrees with me - I dont understand how a cartoon can come close to matching the greatness of ROTK.
The smurfs>humans, but Men, Elves & Dwarves > smurfs.
