Daniel Lavoie (too bad story made him as sadistic torturer who just wanted one-night stand with Esme!), and Alain Cuny (unfortunately those screenwriters also made him as responsible of Esme´s torture and robbed the dungeon scene). Don´t understand me wrong, I love the musical and 1956 version is very good, but it would have been great to see that duo without these changes.

Tony Jay and Alexander Marakulin were the best Frollos ever for me. Both have unique, dramatic voices that suit the character perfectly.

I love Brandon Hurst in anything he does so he gets my vote (1923 version). He was a brilliant and underrated actor.

Alan Rickman would be a rocking awesome Claude Frollo. Richard Harris just freaked me out because I'd close my eyes and see wizard.

I like Kenneth Haigh--he had some goofy facial expressions, but he was pretty alright.

I'd have to concur about seeing Alan Rickman as Frollo? But definitely, Daniel Lavoie. My favourite Frollo. The Frollo he plays: quiet, tormented, passion flickering within.

Very close would be Alexander Marakulin. That Frollo is nothing but torment and passion- and beautifully done.
