  • Simply Jimmy doesn't fit there.

  • LOL... what thats great. Thanks for posting... totally cool!

    all the best ....

  • I think Jimmy was better than Joe, Real good player.

  • OBL L90s on Brads guitar there. Fuckin awesome pickups

  • night in the ruts - best aerosmith album imo...........

  • If You Get Close Enough To The Screen,..You Can Actually Smell The Cocaine..!!

  • @czifrik68 Do you know what cocaine smells like?

  • So STUFF happens... If Tyler & Perry have differences in opinions, hey we are all adults here .... an occasional artist's spat here & there. So what gives but... AEROSMITH in the LONGRUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Stellar video!! I've watched this too many times and love this song. I love Perry but Crespo was a GREAT temporary replacement....killer shots...and funny as hell. I love, love love Steven and he does NOT look like a chick...some guys are just too hairy and ugly..he, Perry and Crespo are lucky to be hot!

  • Man Look at that face. He looks like a Girl. So young steven.

  • It's songs like this that the electric guitar was invented for. Damn, love this song. My favorite of Aerosmith.

  • this was filmed at the werehouse in waltham ma...behind moe blacks

  • whoah... thats def tom hamilton doing the interview

  • Never really seen them try to be funny before. They're not the most jocular band in the world.

  • @Exilemainstreet what are you talking about? go back into the history books...SNL...etc...they are the best!

  • the best band ever.my dad knew steve in the 70s and said they did so much dope but u would never tell they were so great at what they did.my dad al greenaway..

  • that guy has some beast lungs to sing like that

  • that is most defiantly Tom Hamilton asking Steven the question.

  • @smj0yce77 yeah, tom can be funny like that :) being in places you would never think to see him :D

  • Tom Hamilton great in this

  • That's Joe Perry's solo. He laid down all his tracks on Night in the Ruts before he left. Everything except for Mia, Walking in the Sand, and parts of No Surprize.

  • This is a rock-n-roll band, look it up in the dictionary. If you get a chance to see'm live, sell your dog. Bip

  • i like it

  • I never had really liked jimmy crespo, i know he was good but i guess i only like the current aerosmith members, i have only liked them since 2008 which is also when i first heard of them so i also mainly have only thought of them as they are today

  • @aerosmithfan11 Crespo is great...

  • @dimestorehooch yea im sure he is i have only really known aerosmith as they are today

  • Hahaha, the beginning is soo funny!

  • night in the ruts is a badass record... all kick ass tunes. not a bad one on there. love this... too bad the 'smith is mtv girlie fodder these days. they sold out to viacom.

  • @mrdreamwhip Ain't that the muther fuckin' truth! They need to get back on the dope! HaHa!

  • @mrdreamwhip You post JESSICA'S phone number and think you don't have to pay the consequences? You are ONE SICK BASTARD, "bernie". One thing you don't know about me is that I NEVERE GIVE UP. It is soooooooooooo on you stalking psychopathic bastard . . .You are typical right wing Republican stalking SCUM

  • Crespo wrote Aerosmith's baddest guitar riff ever! It's called lightning strikes assholes!

  • @godofslumber uhmmm that was written by Richie Supa...

  • @godofslumber He wrote the tune, not the riff. Ask him, he's on facebook. Supa that is...

  • best a-smith tune of the 80's. its a crime u cant buy this on itunes...

  • the intro is funny as hell! haha

  • looks like history is repeating itself. Now Tyler quits! It's too late for either side to try and make it without the other. At least back then they were only in their 30's. They better get some intervention or something because they've been surviving on their live act for the past 15 years, which at least they're still good at. And why the 9 year wait for the new lp?? The twin towers were still standing when that record came out for Chrissakes!

  • Steven's not Quiting!!!

  • @MegaStrangerdanger Well, then, he better quit the drugs or whatever he's on. He's lucky to be alive as it is. And no one's gonna buy a solo lp from him or a non-Tyler A-Smith record. Can these guys just put out another record already? Even if it sucks, it would show they still kinda give a shit about their legacy.

  • he broke his shoulder he wants to take a break and write his book....heal up then tour again :) the band should respect that..

  • God, Steven Tyler was so fucking hot. I'da done him any day. But that was the '70s, now he's what? 60, 61?

  • Haha i agree!!!!!

  • ohh, prefiero la formacion original, es mucho mejor (o yo stoy acostumbrada ya a los de siempre)

  • Aerosmith are the roving gypsies of rock'n'roll. I've seen them play more than any other band.

And I still think they used the early Aerosmith name from a very old Aero-wax polish container.

    Shine on.

  • .................................

  • Absolutely fuckin' splendid. That riff with the sax....Essential. I still reckon this is their best album - fuck all the naysayers! And if Mia don't make ya grizzle like a slapped toddler, then you've no soul!

  • @BrunswickDeath Night in the Ruts is VASTLY underrated. I'm a huge A-Smith fan of their 70's work and i couldn't tell the difference between Perry and Crespo's guitar work. It's better than 95% of their work since then too! JC also had no illusions of being a full time replacement either. He was brought in as a hired gun to help keep the machine rolling until things smoothed out betwwen Joe and Steven. And he did a damn fine job!

  • @RubHerSoul1 I agree.....I like this album as well.

  • Somehow, through all the strife they pulled out one last good one. It's actually better than Draw the Line, no matter what the critics say. Imagine if this was a brand new release today?? Everyone's jaws would drop!

  • the beginning is soooo funny

  • LOL! I love the part where steven says, " Jimmy Crespo was one of the greatest......uh.... ball players the team had ever had."

  • @AeroAllieAm Haha me too XD

  • my favorite part i the video is where steven's reflection is on the drum i love it very cool....

  • I KNOW me tooooo

    (& i dunno why)

  • whany yyhe

  • i saw this your at the merriweather post in 82 i think with my brother we had 10th row center and it was a great show.

  • THIS IS INCREDIBLE! GREAT SONG!

  • JIMMY CRESPO= GOD;I have the bootlegversion of RIAHR;and those recordings just KICK;all raw tracks, mistakes and all; but gutshaking R&R with unreleashed tracks

  • what a surprise GreenBayLA!!!

i didn't know that was Tom

    Dãa...

  • Rare display of a sense of humor by Tyler and Perry.

  • Aerosmith rocks Argentina. Great song, great riff. I love it

  • The horns in the background of this song are attrocious.

  • Lol..

I like how the interviewer's voice sounds.

    I love Joe, and Steven..

Crespo just looked like he got ran over by a marching band then started smoking.

  • the interviewer is bassist Tom Hamilton w/ fake British accent.

  • LMAO!! Seriously?

  • This song is on the lp "Night in the Ruts" from 1979. This interveiw is from the mid 80's. Jimmy Crespo is a great guitarest, Just not Joe Pery!

  • are you kidding me! Joe Perry is waaay better! I mean so is Jimmy Crespo! But personally i like Joe

  • Like I said, Jimmy is great, but he is no Joe Perry!

  • oooooohh! HA! sorrry... i thought you were saying Joe wan't a great guitarist! lol

  • chiquita!?!? i´ve never hear it before but its really good i like the old shit! but jimmy crespo sucks where is joe perry
