Taker vs. HBK was only Match that i actually enjoy and i think that was one of the best matches in history of those 2 guys ..WM 24 was to me somewhat great ..great matches ..
i havn't seen the shawn michaels vs undertaker but i have seen the edge and undertaker at 24 and to me i just cannot see how the edge and undertaker match was overshadowed it was frikin awsome

You need your eyes checked. I was at WM 25 and overall it was a great time. You wanna whine about spending $65.00 yet I spent $100 and got my moneys worth and then some. The Taker/HBK match paid for itself. You needed to experience it live because the crowd was livid and there were 4 or 5 damn good matches. The problem was the ordering of the matches, Taker/HBK should've been last.

in your opinion the matches were bad, but in some peoples opinion is was good. the only opinion that matters is vinces because its his show, and if you are constantly dissapointed with wwe but you still watch, then you are a slave to vince.
i think that jeff and a few others are disapointed with WWE because for you its not the same as it was when you were younger. i think that wwe shocked most of us with the winners of the matchs and some disagree with the choice of winners. I don't like some of the results or the matchs WM, i see wrestling as theatre now, and the thing with theatre is that it is about a story, not just making popular decisions...

Dude, the Triple Threat match was better then I expected. I thought it'd be Edge and Cena most the match, and Big Show would have little time in it. Big Show ended up being the one who was in the match most. It was a Mediocre Wrestlemania, but I wouldn't just flat out say it sucked. MITB was awesome mostly for Kofi Kingston jumpin flat footed over the ladder. It wasn't the best Mania, no not by a long shot, but I wouldn't just say that it flat out sucked.

I don't come here to listen to WWE praise, but come here to hear a sophisticated opinion on the business, and the opinions and knowledge of an apparent professional (Jeff). It's fine to say that WM 25 was horrible, but I would have rather heard a structured answer and explanation of why. Breaking down matches, of what what WWE could and should have done etc... It's far more entertaining and informative than listing to 15min of simply versed complaining. Thanks for taking the time to reply.
Jeff's issues with the show were similar to mine and others: the main event title matches being flat after following Taker/HBK, the first IC title match in seven years went 21 seconds, the returning Divas being ignored, Kid Rock's stuff too long, the tag title match being cut, MITB too short, and just most of the matches for the so-called "25 year anniversary" show being sub-par.
I'll agree with you on those notes. I feel my attendance to the event probably played a strong part in me enjoying the night more than others. One note: I don't know if if translated onto the PPV, but after Taker jumped over the rope and landed on his head / neck, there was an erie silence in the stadium, and after we all watched the replay, everyone gasp. It was a scary moment, as I was sitting only a few rows back from the ring. Wonder if we'll be seeing Sim Snuka again anytime soon...?
i am so betting lockdown or backlash will be 1000 times better and if lockdown is LMFAO good for tna cause right now tna is produceing a better product then wwe has the past few weeks

I wouldn't say that miz and morrison are the greatest tag team in recent memory, no tag team out there has proven to be that yet. But I think there kinda getting there with miz and morrison and the colons, if they start booking there feud correctly. They have been having awesome matches together, I love Primo, he is amazingly talented probably has the most ability of the four, miz and morrison are super entertaining, and I love carlito's hair.

I personal liked the shawn michaels vs undertaker match because there from texas and they never let you down on a main event show but the rest of bad very bad I paid 60 dollars for the show when I could just have order it but hell whatever it was my first wrestlemania and I enjoyed some of it.
Do you think WWE will host another Wrestlemania here in Houston after how horrible this one was? I was there live and the only match that had everyone on their feet the whole time was HBK vs. Taker. Its not our fault that they couldn't deliver this year, so i believe that they should have another one in the years to come.
PS:i went to the ROH show on friday and it was amazing. the best wrestling ive seen in a long time, better than the card at Wrestlemania i think.

HBK vs Taker was just incredible in all ways
Cena vs Edge vs Big Show just was terrible, Big Show being strangle on the ropes was just bullshit.
HHH vs Orton was good, but not bad.
Carlito and Primo winning the title was awesome, cause they r from Puerto Rico(Where i live).
MitB was awesome with Shelton and Kofi, but Punk winning was bullcrap.

Worst 100 bucks I ever spent to watch it in person and the seats weren't too good. If the 25th anniversary of wrestlemania was that bad then TNA isn't too far behind WWE oh and wm axxess SUCKED!!!!!!! bad booking and wrong days to showcase the bigger talent. Cena, Michaels, and HHH should've been at the Saturday show instead of Kane and the Big Slow.

i think that jeff and a few others are disapointed with WWE because for you its not the same as it was when you were younger. i think that wwe shocked most of us with the winners of the matchs and some disagree with the choice of winners. I don't like some of the results or the matchs WM, i see wrestling as theatre now, and the thing with theatre is that it is about a story, not just making popular decisions...

Mitb was allright. it had some of the best spots, sheltons leap, Kofi clibimg the ladder henry was holiding, hell the WSS on the ladder was cool. But the end sequence was awful, punk "slipping" then pushing kane off with 1 foot. Bad bad bad.

I thought mania was good, not one of the best manis they ever had but it wwas stil a decent show. I agree with the divas match and the 2 main evtents especially the hHH match after all that buildup it was suck a lackluster ending. I really enjoyed th MITB, Hardys match, and HBK/taker the taker match was worth $40 IMO

Dude, the Triple Threat match was better then I expected. I thought it'd be Edge and Cena most the match, and Big Show would have little time in it. Big Show ended up being the one who was in the match most. It was a Mediocre Wrestlemania, but I wouldn't just flat out say it sucked. MITB was awesome mostly for Kofi Kingston jumpin flat footed over the ladder. It wasn't the best Mania, no not by a long shot, but I wouldn't just say that it flat out sucked.

This year's WM was decent, but wasn't the best WM. That belongs to X7. For this year's WM, Taker/HBK was MOTN and MOTY. People talking bad about the World Heavyweight Title match are retarded. Listen, if u had a match right after one of the best matches in WM history, the crowd wouldn't really be into it, but cause it had Cena in the match, the crowd was into it. And it wasn't bad, now the WWE title match was bad. HHH is, was and always will be garbage. Orton got shafted, again.

Wrestlemania 25 did have some good matches/moments but i do agree that the diva battle royal was stupid(i didn't even know who was in it due to no intro)Taker/HBK great match(match of the night)MITB was pretty good but last years was better and the WWE/WHC matches sucked,it was obvious to me that Cena would win before the show started and HHH/Orton was rushed and Orton didn't win :( i would probably give it 7 out of 10)

I wouldn't go as far as to put Mania 25 up there with one of the worst but the anti-climatic WWE Title match left a sour taste in my mouth.
I disagree with Jeff on the Extreme Rules match. I actually enjoyed it. I'm a big Matt Hardy fan, so I was glad to see him win.
Money in the Bank was alright, but botched spots kinda took away from it. I still would've marked for a Mark Henry dive off the top rope.
As for HBK/Taker, if you haven't seen it, watch it. That match might beat Bret/HBK...might.

I didn't even watch the triple threat match, I knew it was going to suck.
Hogan vs Andre really isn't that great a match. The more times I see it the more it sucks.

I don't come here to listen to WWE praise, but come here to hear a sophisticated opinion on the business, and the opinions and knowledge of an apparent professional (Jeff). It's fine to say that WM 25 was horrible, but I would have rather heard a structured answer and explanation of why. Breaking down matches, of what what WWE could and should have done etc... It's far more entertaining and informative than listing to 15min of simply versed complaining. Thanks for taking the time to reply.

Jeff's issues with the show were similar to mine and others: the main event title matches being flat after following Taker/HBK, the first IC title match in seven years went 21 seconds, the returning Divas being ignored, Kid Rock's stuff too long, the tag title match being cut, MITB too short, and just most of the matches for the so-called "25 year anniversary" show being sub-par.

I'll agree with you on those notes. I feel my attendance to the event probably played a strong part in me enjoying the night more than others. One note: I don't know if if translated onto the PPV, but after Taker jumped over the rope and landed on his head / neck, there was an erie silence in the stadium, and after we all watched the replay, everyone gasp. It was a scary moment, as I was sitting only a few rows back from the ring. Wonder if we'll be seeing Sim Snuka again anytime soon...?

I wouldn't say that miz and morrison are the greatest tag team in recent memory, no tag team out there has proven to be that yet. But I think there kinda getting there with miz and morrison and the colons, if they start booking there feud correctly. They have been having awesome matches together, I love Primo, he is amazingly talented probably has the most ability of the four, miz and morrison are super entertaining, and I love carlito's hair.

Hey Jeff,
Do you think WWE will host another Wrestlemania here in Houston after how horrible this one was? I was there live and the only match that had everyone on their feet the whole time was HBK vs. Taker. Its not our fault that they couldn't deliver this year, so i believe that they should have another one in the years to come.
PS:i went to the ROH show on friday and it was amazing. the best wrestling ive seen in a long time, better than the card at Wrestlemania i think.
