I have been playing for about 8 years I think, self-taught all the way. I never liked leaning songs off the tabs coz it's really frustrating for me lol. I'd much rather just listen to the song, learn the chords, and make my own arrangements. It's much more fun for me and it's easier to adjust to different songs later on.

well, for a beginner, it probably is hard. But let me tell ya, I CAN'T PLAY GUITAR HERO!!! lol. Yeah seriously, I suck pretty bad on it. I can't kinda play in medium now but I used to get booed off stage on easy with smoke on the water lol. Anyway, my point is, if you put some time and learn how to play the real guitar instead of guitar hero, you could prolly learn this song in a few years. And really, one you know how to play the guitar it'll stay with you forever. It's worth the time I think;)

do you have any recommendations on a good beginner guitar?

depends on your budget.I have four acoustics at home none of which are expensive and most of them except Yamaha are big brand. Heck I even have Firstact junior sized guitar that they sell in Wal-Mart(which by the way is pretty darn good for $30!!! lol) so my recommendation is find a friend who has been playing the guitar for many years, and go with him to the guitar store. Then he should be able to point out and choose decent ones.

If you are looking for particular brand, Oscar-schmidt tends to be nice. Now, I don't own them, but when I find them in stores, they are usually easier to play than most and they are cheeper and sound pretty decent. And the playability is a big deal when you are first learning. But like I said, if there's any guitar, new or used, that your guitarist friend can point out in a store, you should give it a fair try. Don't blindly trust a brand coz every guitar is different.

I know I have seen the tabs before! Cant find this one. But I remember that it starts with playing the 6th string 3 times open, then hold on the 2nd band, 4th band and then switch to the 5th string and 2nd band.
