  • NYC ALL DA WAY ALL DAY !!

  • hardbody nyc dec shit man i respect ya

  • Reminds me of 1995 Pennsylvania October Nights. Walking down the street after the early dark, and chilly winds movin' the leaves. My homie Lou buggin out because he's trippin on LSD.

On our way to Keenans, to pick up Trees.

Watchin cartoon Batman, but listening to Biggie.

  • Yes, like a 7-11, or Gulf, or Texaco, except it is called THE MONKEY PUMP--ETHANOL STATION.

I thought it up during the big GAS Crunch, during the last administration.

Gas prices have fallen a bit since.

  • @themonkeypumpethanol i wasn't saying "wtf" to your name i was saying wtf to the rhyme you wrote

  • I was simply stating that this is what I think about most when I hear this song.

More specifically the memories of an occasion that involved my friend Lou, who had this CD, and he was tripping one night....buggin out BIG TIME as we were on our way to "Philadelphia" Keenans.

And the instrumental music as they talk at the very beginning of this song is what reminds me most of our Pennsylvania Autumns----with the wind blowing the leaves.....as we downed our Malt Liquor.

  • nice beat to bomb to

  • kiss ya life good bye.....

  • wHOOOOO CLASSic MObb!!!!

  • Some of the illest mobb deep shit. Such ill lyricism

"Dont Even Need a Degree, To Earn Those Six Digit Figures, I Get Mine Slingin' On The Corner With My Niggas"

"Then I Hung Up The Horn, And I Thought To Myself, That It Might Be On, Cuz This Trick Ain't Pick Up The Phone And Called Me In Years Ever Since I Left The Hoe Lonely In Tears, No Way Of Knowin What Her Friends Been Puttin' Up In Her Ears, Ideas Of Settin' Me Up I'm Not Tryna Hear"

  • dont get me wrong people. i dont want to see it because she is in it or something. i mentioned it because i find it strange that a video with her in it is nowhere to be found. the first time i listened to this dong i kept saying how there should be a video for this

  • This was always my favorite song off the album

  • Definately classic, not taking anything away from the track, but the beat is a sample not sure folks know that. Its still one of my favorite mobb songs though!

  • Are you serious?? like 90% of the hip hop CLASSICS out there are samples....Even your favorite modern rappers like Kanye and Jay z rhyme over sampled beats..... There are a few good hip hop joints that are not sampled but it is very very rare..... I do both sample and non sample beats and I prefer to sample not because I lack skill but because taking something that is 100% not hip hop and turning it into a iLL beat is more of a challenge to me than starting from scratch......

  • pfffff one of the illest beats to this day on. it makes me cry to hear nowadays songs...

  • In todays hip hop if it was just a beat most of these dudes wouldnt feel it. See back than the beat could be nice without outshining the rhymez.... But nowadays you can say shit on the illest beat and nobody will give a fuck as long as the beat bangs......Mobb had a blend of both iLL Raw rhymez and raw beats

  • Yeaaah...This song is...Epic.

  • that bassline is sick!

  • i juked madd cats to dis song!!!!

  • Old School Hip Hop

    Peace

  • this is my morning song, love it!

  • classic

mobb deep runs shit...........thank god they are still alive man.

  • i put havoc up as one of the best producers

  • @CrunkKing232 no doubt

  • @CrunkKing232 it's funny. you NEVER hear anybody put havoc in the top 5 lists. I think there's an argument to be made that he's in the top 5, but he has been in on a terrible decline beginning in the last decade (2000s). On the other hand, Dilla, Premo, Pete Rock etc. have never had more than a handful of throw away tracks. Also, I think the test of a good producer is how versatile he is in terms of who he works with. Havoc hardly ever produces for niggas other than Prodigy.

  • @jerelny thats true i was goning to say 50 cent but his on his label

  • The Hall of Fame of Hip Hop for this album...
